(1)本実施形態のリチウム電池用正極合剤成形体12によると、好適な成形性及び成形体強度を維持、向上できるばかりでなく、導電性や保液性が改善されること等により負荷特性を向上させることができる。よって、このような優れたリチウム電池用正極合剤成形体12を使用すれば、低温での連続放電特性及びパルス放電特性の両方に優れ、高信頼性かつ高性能のリチウム電池10を比較的容易にかつ低コストで実現することができる。

Claims (2)
- 正極活物質及び導電炭素材を主構成材料として含むリチウム電池用正極合剤成形体であって、
前記正極活物質である平均粒径が35μm以上40μm以下の焼成二酸化マンガンと、
前記導電炭素材である平均粒径が36μm以上45μm以下かつ見掛け密度が0.01g/cm 3 以上0.05g/cm 3 以下の膨張化黒鉛粉末と、
0.5重量%以上1重量%以下のバインダと
を含み、焼成二酸化マンガンと膨張化黒鉛との重量比が15:1〜25:1である成形用材料を成形して得られ、
成形体密度が3.1g/cm 3 以上3.4g/cm 3 以下である
リチウム電池用正極合剤成形体。 - 請求項1に記載のリチウム電池用正極合剤成形体を用いたことを特徴とするリチウム電池。
