という関係が成り立つ。したがって、放電管22の外半径Roと内半径Riとの比に対応させて、θを一定値以下にする必要がある。一般的に製造されている細径の閃光放電管の寸法を基に、反射膜13の蒸着角度の例を図5Aに示す。

Claims (8)
- ガラスバルブと、前記ガラスバルブの外周面の少なくとも230°の範囲に形成された反射膜とを備え、前記反射膜の膜厚が、前記反射膜が形成されていない開口部から後方にかけて厚くなるように形成されたことを特徴とする放電管。
- 前記反射膜の表面に、金属薄膜からなる保護層が形成された請求項1に記載の放電管。
- 請求項1または請求項2のいずれかに記載の放電管の反射膜形成方法であって,前記ガラスバルブの外表面に少なくとも2方向の蒸着源から金属を蒸着することにより反射膜を形成し、
前記ガラスバルブの外表面に前記金属を蒸着する際に、前記ガラスバルブの前面に設けられる反射部材を、前記ガラスバルブの外周面と密接させた状態で前記マスク用治具として用いることにより、前記金属が蒸着成膜されない領域を設ける放電管の反射膜形成方法。 - 請求項1または請求項2のいずれかに記載の放電管の反射膜形成方法であって,前記ガラスバルブの外表面に蒸着源からの金属を蒸着することにより反射膜を形成する第1ステップと、前記第1ステップの後、前記ガラスバルブと前記蒸着源との相対位置を変化させて、前記ガラスバルブの外表面に前記蒸着源から金属を蒸着することにより前記反射膜を形成する第2ステップとを備え、
前記ガラスバルブの外表面に前記金属を蒸着する際に、前記ガラスバルブの前面に設けられる反射部材を、前記ガラスバルブの外周面と密接させた状態で前記マスク用治具として用いることにより、前記金属が蒸着成膜されない領域を設ける放電管の反射膜形成方法。 - 前記ガラスバルブと前記蒸着源との相対位置を、前記ガラスバルブの外周方向に変化させて蒸着を行う請求項3または請求項4に記載の放電管の反射膜形成方法。
- 前記第2ステップにおける前記反射膜は、前記第1ステップで形成された前記反射膜に重ねて蒸着をおこなうことにより形成する請求項3または請求項4に記載の放電管の反射膜形成方法。
- 請求項1または請求項2に記載の放電管を発光部に用いた発光装置。
- 前記放電管の前方に反射部材を設けた請求項7に記載の発光装置。
