前記R1と前記R2の関係がR1≧2×R2であることを特徴とする磁気ヘッド。
図12は印加電力のパルス幅に対し、加工された凹み部の曲率をDC電力を印加した場合を1とした場合の相対値でプロットしたものである。図12において、横軸はパルス幅である。パルスのデューティは1/10で一定としている。縦軸は、図1における浮上面の凹部の曲率の相対値である。
Claims (4)
- 記録素子と再生素子を有する磁気ヘッドにおいて、
前記記録素子と前記再生素子の間に加熱素子が配置され、磁気ディスクと対向する浮上面の形状が前記加熱素子に電力を加えていないときに前記加熱素子の直近の部分で凹形状をなしており、
前記加熱素子に電力を印加した場合、前記再生素子、または、前記記録素子のいずれかが、前記磁気ヘッドの浮上面において最も外側に突出していることを特徴とする磁気ヘッド。 - 記録素子と再生素子を有する磁気ヘッドにおいて、
前記記録素子と前記再生素子の間に加熱素子が配置され、磁気ディスクと対向する浮上面の形状が前記加熱素子に電力を加えていないときに前記加熱素子の直近の部分で凹形状をなしており、
前記磁気ヘッドの前記加熱素子に電力を加えているときに、前記再生素子または前記記録素子のいずれかが、前記磁気ディスクに最も近づいていることを特徴とする磁気ヘッド。 - 記録素子と再生素子を有する磁気ヘッドにおいて、
前記記録素子と前記再生素子の間に加熱素子が備えられ、磁気ディスクと対向する浮上面の形状が前記加熱素子に電力を加えていないときに前記加熱素子の直近の部分で凹形状をなしており、
前記凹形状の最も深い部分の深さをd1とし、d1/2の部分の前記凹形状の平均直径がW1であるとき、R1=d1/W1とし、
前記加熱素子に電力を加えたときに、前記浮上面が前記磁気ディスクの方向に変形する量を前記磁気ディスクと平行な面にプロットした場合、前記磁気ディスクの方向に変形する量の最も大きな量をd2とし、d2/2の部分の前記プロットの平均半径がをW2であるとき、R2=d2/W2とし、
前記R1と前記R2の関係がR1≧2×R2であることを特徴とする磁気ヘッド。 - 記録素子と再生素子を有する磁気ヘッドにおいて、
前記記録素子と前記再生素子の間に、電力を加えたときは前記再生素子、または、前記記録素子のいずれかが前記磁気ヘッドの浮上面において外側に突出するようにする加熱素子が備えられ、磁気ディスクと対向する前記浮上面の形状が前記加熱素子に電力を加えていないときに前記加熱素子の直近の部分で凹形状をなしており、
前記凹形状の最も深い部分の深さをd1とし、d1/2の部分の前記凹形状の平均直径をW1としたとき、d1が5nm以上20nm以下であり、且つW1が20μm以下であること特徴とする磁気ヘッド。
