炭化ケイ素系繊維分散強化複合耐火物成形体を提案するものである。
少なくともSiCを含む不定形耐火調合物に、
主成分にSiCを50重量%以上含み、長さ10mm〜100mm、繊維直径5μm〜25μmのSiC系無機繊維複数本からなる繊維束を有機系結合剤(例えば、エポキシ樹脂)を用いて束ねたSiC繊維チョップを当該不定形耐火調合物の0.1乃至3重量%混合し、
水を加えて混練した後、乾燥、固化させて得た、
骨材部と結合部とからなり、
骨材部に少なくともSiCを含み、
結合部が水和反応によって構成され、
主成分にSiCを50重量%以上含み、繊維直径5μm〜25μm、繊維長50μm〜2,000μm、アスペクト比5乃至200であるSiC系無機繊維からなるモノフィラメントが前記結合部に分散している
ものである。

Claims (1)
- 少なくともSiCを含む不定形耐火調合物に、
主成分にSiCを50重量%以上含み、長さ10mm〜100mm、繊維直径5μm〜25μmのSiC系無機繊維複数本からなる繊維束を有機系結合剤を用いて束ねたSiC繊維チョップを当該不定形耐火調合物の0.1乃至3重量%混合し、
水を加えて混練した後、乾燥、固化させて得た、
骨材部と結合部とからなり、
骨材部に少なくともSiCを含み、
結合部が水和反応によって構成され、
主成分にSiCを50重量%以上含み、繊維直径5μm〜25μm、繊維長50μm〜2,000μm、アスペクト比5乃至200であるSiC系無機繊維からなるモノフィラメントが前記結合部に分散している
炭化ケイ素系繊維分散強化複合耐火物成形体。
