Description
Claims (1)
- 光モジュールを製造する方法であって、
芯線の先端面を含む部分の外皮が除去されており、且つ、該芯線の先端面が該芯線の光軸に対して傾斜している光ファイバを準備する工程と、
前記光ファイバを筒状のフェルールの内孔に挿入する工程であって、前記フェルールは、該フェルールの中心軸線方向に沿って順に、第1の部分、第2の部分、及び第3の部分を有しており、前記光ファイバは、前記先端面が前記第3の部分の内孔及び第2の部分の内孔を経て第1の部分の端面から突き出されるように、前記内孔に挿入される、該工程と、
前記第3の部分の開口から樹脂を流して、前記第3の部分の内孔を画成する面と前記光ファイバの外皮との間、及び、前記第2の部分の内孔を画成する面と前記芯線との間に、樹脂を浸透させる工程と、
半導体光素子を搭載した光ユニットの一端面において前記フェルールの前記端面をスライドし、且つ、前記フェルールの前記端面からの前記芯線の前記先端面の突き出し量を調整することによって、前記半導体光素子と前記光ファイバとの光学的調芯を行う工程と、
前記樹脂を固化させる工程と、
を含む、方法。
