Description
前記走行経路は、非接触給電線とその電源とから成る、天井走行車の2次電池への充電設備を、充電エリア及び充電エリア以外の走行経路での直線区間の一部とに備え、
天井走行車は、位置と2次電池の残容量とを地上側コントローラへ報告する手段を備え、 地上側コントローラは、2次電池の残容量が閾値以下の天井走行車を充電エリアへ走行させて2次電池に充電させると共に、2次電池の残容量が前記閾値以上の天井走行車を充電エリア以外の直線区間で充電させる充電管理部と、充電エリア内の天井走行車を充電エリア外の位置へ走行させる配車管理部、とを備えていることを特徴とする。
(1) 2次電池への充電と天井走行車の待機及び配車の問題を一括して処理できる。
(2) 充電ベイルート8での充電を行うので、台車がルート4,6などで停止して充電する場合と異なり、渋滞を引き起こさない。また1回充電を開始すると容量が充分高くなるまで充電するので、効率的である。
(3) 一般のルート4,6でも直線区間に非接触給電線14を配置するので、天井走行車16が走行する過程で充電でき、また万一電池切れを起こした際でも、充電ベイルート8まで走行できるようにバックアップできる。非接触給電線14は直線区間にのみ設ければ良く、また走行台数の多い区間にのみ設ければよい。
(4) 2次電池28の状態を単セル毎にあるいはセルユニット毎に監視し、2次電池全体の最大容量の変化も監視する。このようにして的確なメンテナンスを行い、かつ電池切れで走行できない天井走行車が生じないようにする。

Claims (3)
- 単セルもしくはセルユニットを複数直列に接続した2次電池を電源として走行する複数台の天井走行車を、所定の走行経路に沿って、地上側コントローラの制御下に走行させるシステムであって、
前記走行経路は、非接触給電線とその電源とから成る、天井走行車の2次電池への充電設備を、充電エリア及び充電エリア以外の走行経路での直線区間の一部とに備え、
天井走行車は、位置と2次電池の残容量とを地上側コントローラへ報告する手段を備え、 地上側コントローラは、2次電池の残容量が閾値以下の天井走行車を充電エリアへ走行させて2次電池に充電させると共に、2次電池の残容量が前記閾値以上の天井走行車を充電エリア以外の直線区間で充電させる充電管理部と、充電エリア内の天井走行車を充電エリア外の位置へ走行させる配車管理部、とを備えていることを特徴とする、天井走行車システム。 - 前記天井走行車は、2次電池の残容量に加えて、単セルもしくはセルユニット毎の起電力と内部抵抗、及び2次電池の充放電量を地上側コントローラへ報告し、
地上側コントローラは、メンテナンスが必要な2次電池を備えた天井走行車を検出することを特徴とする、請求項1の天井走行車システム。 - 前記地上側コントローラは、搬送指令の発生頻度が高い時期に前記閾値を小さくし、発生頻度が低い時期に前記閾値を大きくすることを特徴とする、請求項1または2の天井走行車システム。
