Description
ックライトに設けられた発光素子と、発光素子からの光が入射する導光板と、発光素子が
搭載されるフレキシブル回路基板とを設け、導光板の入射面には凹部を形成し、該凹部に回路素子を配置し、フレキシブル回路基板の発光素子の搭載位置よりも導光板側の領域に回路素子に接続する配線を形成し、上記配線は、発光素子の搭載位置よりも導光板側の領域で上記回路素子と接続され、上記フレキシブル回路基板の上記配線が形成され導光板と重なる領域に反射部材を設ける。
Claims (8)
- 液晶パネルと、該液晶パネルに光を照射するバックライトと、
上記バックライトに設けられた発光素子と、
上記発光素子からの光が入射する導光板と、
上記発光素子が搭載されるフレキシブル回路基板とを有し、
上記発光素子は導光板の入光面に対向して配置され、
2つの隣合う発光素子の間の導光板を切り欠いて凹部を形成し、
上記凹部と重なるフレキシブル回路基板の導光板の入光面側には上記発光素子よりも導光板に近接して回路素子が搭載され、
上記フレキシブル回路基板の発光素子の搭載位置よりも導光板側の領域に回路素子に接続する配線を形成し、
上記配線は、発光素子の搭載位置よりも導光板側の領域で上記回路素子と接続され、
上記フレキシブル回路基板の上記配線が形成され導光板と重なる領域に反射部材を設けたことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 上記発光素子はLEDであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 上記回路素子は抵抗素子または容量素子であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表
示装置。 - 液晶パネルと、該液晶パネルに光を照射する面状照明装置とを有し、
上記面状照明装置は、
複数の発光素子と、
上記発光素子からの光を上記液晶パネルに照射する導光板と、
上記発光素子を搭載するフレキシブル回路基板とを有し、
上記導光板は、上記液晶パネルに対向するよう形成された上面と、該上面に交差する側面とを有するとともに、
上記発光素子に隣接した側面に凹部が形成されており、
上記凹部に回路素子を配置し、
上記フレキシブル回路基板の発光素子の搭載位置よりも導光板側の領域に回路素子に接続する配線を形成し、
上記配線は、発光素子の搭載位置よりも導光板側の領域で上記回路素子と接続され、
上記フレキシブル回路基板の上記配線が形成され導光板と重なる領域に反射部材を設けたことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 上記発光素子はLEDであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 上記回路素子は抵抗素子または容量素子であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の液晶表
示装置。 - 液晶パネルと、該液晶パネルに光を照射する導光板と、
上記導光板に向けて光を出射する複数の発光素子と、
上記複数の発光素子と抵抗素子と容量素子とが搭載されたフレキシブル回路基板と、を有し、
上記導光板は上記発光素子に隣接する側面が入射面となっており、
上記発光素子は上記回路基板に上記側面に沿う方向に並べられ、
2つの隣合う上記発光素子の間では、上記側面は上記発光素子から遠ざかるような凹部を
有し、
上記凹部に上記抵抗素子または容量素子が設けられ、
上記フレキシブル回路基板の発光素子の搭載位置よりも導光板側の領域に上記抵抗素子または容量素子に接続する配線を形成し、
上記配線は、発光素子の搭載位置よりも導光板側の領域で上記抵抗素子または容量素子と接続し、
上記フレキシブル回路基板の上記配線が形成され導光板と重なる領域に反射部材を設けることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 上記発光素子はLEDであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の液晶表示装置。
