Description
初期位置において、液体ポンプ(図示せず)が駆動すると、液体が加圧され、液体タンクから適切なパイプ(図示せず)を経由して入口ポート30及びスリーブ16に入り、その全容積を満たす。スリーブ16内の液体は、バンパーを通して液体排出機構32を入れ子式に上向きに突出させ、次に、液体をノズルシステム36を経由してスリーブ16からヘッドランプ(図示せず)等の所望される目的物にジェット噴霧する。
一旦操作を開始すると加圧された液体はジェットキャリヤ12中に入り、ポンプ(図示せず)が停止されると装置内に残留する。ジェットキャリヤ12に液体を供給する際に、液体はスリーブ16内の全ての空間を満たす。第1のコイルばね102はプランジャ104を上向きに付勢することによってプラグ110を接合部114に押し込む。O−リング112は、不必要な液体が接合部114を通って流れないようにそれを密封するように機能する。また、液体は接合部114に到達するまで4つの溝122を含む柱状体88を満たし、接合部114においてはU字型ヘッド34への液体の流れをプラグ110が妨げる。
まず、符号130で全体的に示される本発明の第二実施形態によるライト洗浄装置を説明する図9及び12を参照して、洗浄装置130は、前述の実施形態に関連して開示されたものと類似の設計である円形ブラケット14を含む縦軸Y−Yを有する。しかしながら、円形ブラケット14中に設置されるジェットキャリヤ132は六角形の断面を有する。図10において、第二実施形態130の底面図が示されている。円形ブラケット14は上述のものと同様であり、六角形のスリーブ134に摺動可能に係合されている。
ジェットクリーナを作動させると、液体が入口ポート148を通って六角形ジェットキャリヤ132に入り、ポンプ(図示せず)が停止されると装置内に残留する。ジェットキャリヤに液体を供給する際に、液体は六角形スリーブ内の全ての空間を満たすが、ラジアルバルブ204の位置によって入口孔202を経由した流体連通が制限されるシリンダ192は除かれる。

Claims (1)
- 加圧洗浄液源に接続可能な入口ポートが形成された伸長ハウジングと、少なくとも1つのジェットノズルに装着され、入れ子式に伸縮可能であって通常収縮されている中空管の先端に設置されたリンスヘッドと、前記リンスヘッドと前記伸長ハウジングの内部空間との間を延伸する液体流路と、前記伸長ハウジングから前記中空管がフルに突出したことのみに応答して液体流路を開放する通常は閉鎖されたシール・アッセンブリとを備える車両用ライト洗浄装置であって、一旦、前記ライト洗浄装置が始動されると、洗浄液が前記ライト洗浄装置の前記伸長ハウジング内の全ての空間を満たし、かつ、前記加圧洗浄液源が作動するまで前記ライト洗浄装置の前記伸長ハウジングがすぐに利用可能な洗浄液によって満たされた状態を維持し、加圧された洗浄液が供給されると即座に突出して洗浄液を放出することが可能である車両用ライト洗浄装置。
