Claims (3)
- 燃焼室に酸化剤を供給する酸化剤供給手段と、
前記酸化剤と反応することにより燃焼する被酸化物を前記燃焼室に供給する被酸化物供給手段と、
両端が前記燃焼室に連通すると共に一端からは前記燃焼室で前記被酸化物が燃焼した後の排気ガスが前記燃焼室から流入し、他端からは前記燃焼室が吸気するガスが前記燃焼室に対して流出可能に設けられており、さらに、空気よりも比熱比が高く、且つ、前記燃焼室との間で循環するガスである作動ガスが流通可能な経路である循環経路と、
前記被酸化物の供給量と前記酸化剤の供給量とを決定すると共に、内燃機関の始動時には前記酸化剤の供給割合を通常運転時の供給割合と比較して増加させて前記被酸化物の供給量と前記酸化剤の供給量とを決定する供給量決定手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 前記供給量決定手段は、前記排気ガス中の前記被酸化物の濃度と前記酸化剤の濃度とが共に所定の濃度以下になるように前記被酸化物の供給量と前記酸化剤の供給量とを決定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記供給量決定手段は、前記内燃機関の通常運転時には前記被酸化物と前記酸化剤とのうちいずれか一方のみが定常的に前記排気ガスに含まれるように前記被酸化物の供給量と前記酸化剤の供給量とを決定することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関。
