次に、本発明に係る透光性セラミックを実験例に基づいて説明する。
(nは屈折率、λは波長、a,b,cは定数)
この式からアッベ数(νd)算出に必要な3波長(F線:486.13nm、d線:587.56nm、C線:656.27nm)での屈折率を求め、アッベ数の定義式:式2からアッベ数を算出した。
(nd、nFおよびnCは、それぞれ、d線、F線およびC線における屈折率)
以上のようにして求めた屈折率nd、アッベ数νdおよび直線透過率を表1に示す。
Claims (5)
- 波長が633nmである可視光の、試料厚み0.4mmにおける直線透過率が20%以上であって、
一般式:Y3AlVOW(4.4≦v≦5.4の条件を満足し、wは電気的中性を保つための正の数である。)で表されるガーネット型化合物を主成分とし、かつ、前記Y3AlVOWにおいて、Alの一部または全部がGaで置換されていることを特徴とする、透光性セラミック。 - 波長が633nmである可視光の、試料厚み0.4mmにおける直線透過率が20%以上であって、
一般式:(Y,Gd)3AlVOW(4.4≦v≦5.4の条件を満足し、wは電気的中性を保つための正の数であり、Yを必ず含む。)で表されるガーネット型化合物を主成分とし、かつ、前記(Y,Gd)3AlVOWにおいて、Alの一部または全部がGaで置換されていることを特徴とする、透光性セラミック。 - 前記Alの30〜90モル%がGaで置換されていることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の透光性セラミック。
- 請求項1または2に記載の透光性セラミックからなる光学部品。
- 請求項4に記載の光学部品が搭載されている光学装置。
