−メチル−2−ピロリドン(以下、NMPと略す)溶液をPVDFが5重量部相当を混合する。この混合物を厚み15μmのアルミニウム箔からなる正極集電体20に幅方向の一端面に未塗工部22を形成するように塗布、乾燥した後、圧延して厚みが150μmの正極板23を作製する。

Claims (3)
- 集電体の幅方向の一端面に未塗工部を残すように活物質層を設けた正極板と負極板とを、集電体の未塗工部が相対向する側に表出するようにセパレータを介して捲回した電極群と、この電極群の上下面に表出した正極板および負極板の活物質層の未塗工部に溶接により接続した集電板と、この一方の集電板が電池ケースの内底面に他方の集電板が電池ケースの開口部に封着される封口板の端子に接続され、前記電池ケース内に電極群と電解液とを封入した密閉型蓄電池において、
前記捲回して構成された電極群の両端面に表出する正極板または負極板の少なくともいずれか一方の集電体群に複数層の集電体に中央から一直線に形成された複数の放射方向のスリットを設け、この集電体群を捲回軸心側から外周方向に折り曲げて平坦な集電板との溶接面を形成し、電池ケースと接続されない側の集電体の溶接面の外周を電極群の外形と同一にした密閉型蓄電池。 - 前記電池ケースと接続されない側の集電体として、捲回軸心側から外周側に向って活物質層の未塗工部の幅を徐々に小さくした請求項1記載の密閉型蓄電池。
- 前記電池ケースと接続されない側の集電体として、捲回された外周側の活物質層の未塗工部を除去した請求項1に記載の密閉型蓄電池。
