Claims (1)
- 車両構成部材に内設することによって車両の内部または外部からの衝撃を吸収するための熱可塑性樹脂製の車両用衝撃吸収体において、
衝撃吸収体は、ブロー成形によって一体に成形された中空構造であって、
中空部を有する本体と、この本体の互いに対向する第一壁および第二壁をそれぞれ他方へ向けて窪ませて互いの先端部を接合させた対をなす凹状リブを複数個有しているとともに、
衝撃吸収体を構成する壁面の薄肉となる隅部、または第二壁側に設けられた取付片に対向する第一壁の縁部、または前記隅部および前記縁部両方の部分に、前記隅部または前記縁部にかかってその周辺に及ぶ形状の荷重に対する強度低下を抑制する中空部に向けて直線状の切り込み状に形成されている凹陥部が形成されていることを特徴とする車両用衝撃吸収体。
