Description
ハウジングと、前記ハウジングの前方開口部に配置されたレンズカバーとにより形成される灯室内に、投影レンズ、シェード、光源を前方から順に光軸に沿って配置した車両用前照灯において、前記光源からの熱を前記灯室内に放熱する放熱部材を備え、前記放熱部材は上下方向に沿って設けられた複数の板状の放熱フィンを有し、前記放熱フィンの下側に上下方向のスリットを形成することより前記放熱フィンの上側と下側とで伝わる熱量を変えて、上側の温度が高く、かつ上側と下側とで温度差を大きくしたことを特徴とする車両用前照灯がそれである。
まず第1実施形態について、図1〜図6によって説明する。図1に示すように、1はハウジングで、ハウジング1には前方開口部2が形成され、開口部2を除いて周囲が壁で塞がれている。開口部2には、レンズカバー4が配置されて、ハウジング1内がほぼ閉塞され、ハウジング1とレンズカバー4とにより灯室6が形成されている。
車両の運転に伴って光源12が点灯されると、光源12で発せられた光は、リフレクタ14で反射されて、リフレクタ14で反射された光の一部はシェード10により遮られ、シェード10により遮られなかった光は投影レンズ8によって前方に照射される。
前述した第1、第2実施形態では、光源12を水平板部18に取り付け、水平板部18を垂直板部20に取り付けていたが、本第3実施形態では、図11に示すように、光源12を角柱状のマウント部材88に取り付け、マウント部材88に放熱部材16の垂直板部20を取り付けている。マウント部材88には光源12への電力供給を制御する駆動回路90が配置されている。

Claims (6)
- ハウジングと、前記ハウジングの前方開口部に配置されたレンズカバーとにより形成される灯室内に、投影レンズ、シェード、光源を前方から順に光軸に沿って配置した車両用前照灯において、
前記光源からの熱を前記灯室内に放熱する放熱部材を備え、
前記放熱部材は上下方向に沿って設けられた複数の板状の放熱フィンを有し、
前記放熱フィンの下側に上下方向のスリットを形成することにより前記放熱フィンの上側と下側とで伝わる熱量を変えて、上側の温度が高く、かつ上側と下側とで温度差を大きくしたことを特徴とする車両用前照灯。 - 前記放熱部材は、上下方向に立設された垂直板部を備え、複数の前記放熱フィンを前記垂直板部に左右方向に並べて取り付け、かつ、前記スリットは前記放熱フィンの下側から前記垂直板部に沿って垂直に延び、更に斜め上方に延ばしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記放熱フィンを薄板で形成したことを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記光源をマウント部材を介して前記放熱部材に取り付け、前記マウント部材に前記光源の駆動回路を配置したことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記マウント部材に複数の前記放熱部材を取り付けたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記駆動回路は前記マウント部材の前記光源から離れた位置に取り付けたことを特徴とする請求項4又は請求項5に記載の車両用前照灯。
