JIS A5015−1992
高炉徐冷スラグは、一般に、ドライピットにて溶融スラグを積み重ねた後、散水処理をして冷却し、破砕処理を実施する。これは、溶融スラグを排出するごとに散水処理を行うと、スラグ表面に残存した水が、次の溶融スラグが持ち込まれた後に急激に膨張して水蒸気爆発が生じることが懸念されるためである。

Claims (1)
- 高炉から溶融スラグを厚みが50cm以下になるように流し出し、そのスラグ表面温度が500℃以上の時に、表面に0.3t/m2・hr以上の流量で散水冷却し、前記散水冷却した後の高炉徐冷スラグの表面温度が300℃以下になった後、その上にさらに高炉から溶融スラグを同様に流し出して同様の散水冷却を行う処理を1回または2回以上行い、得られた高炉徐冷スラグを破砕し、エージングして路盤材とすることを特徴とする路盤材の製造方法。
