Description
1―1.正極の製造
正極活物質としてのLiCoO295重量%、Super―P(導電剤)2.5重量%及びPVdF(結合剤)2.5重量%を、溶剤であるNMP(N―methyl―2―pyrrolidone)に添加して正極混合物スラリーを製造した後、アルミニウムホイール上にコーティング、乾燥及び圧着して正極を製造した。
負極活物質としての人造黒鉛95重量%、Super―P(導電剤)2.5重量%及びPVdF(結合剤)2.5重量%を、溶剤であるNMPに添加して負極混合物スラリーを製造した後、銅ホイール上にコーティング、乾燥及び圧着して負極を製造した。
基材フィルム用成分としてのポリプロピレンペレットに、粒径が20μmである膨張性グラファイト30重量%及び粒径が10μmである粉末形態のPU40重量%を混合した後、圧出成形して厚さ100μmの安全フィルムを製造した。
分離膜としてセルガードTMを使用し、前記1―1の正極、前記1―2の負極及び前記分離膜を順次積層してバイセルを製造し、これらバイセルの一部の間に前記1―3の安全フィルムを挿入した後、電池ケースに装着して二次電池を製造した。
PUを基材フィルムとし、粒径が20μmである膨張性グラファイトを30重量%で添加した後、圧出成形して安全フィルムを製造した点を除けば、上記の実施例1と同一の方法で二次電池を製造した。
安全フィルムを使用しない点を除けば、上記の実施例1と同一の方法で二次電池を製造した。
Claims (7)
- 安全フィルムを備えてなるリチウム二次電池であって、
前記安全フィルムが、高熱時に不燃性ガスを発生させる膨張性グラファイトと、高熱時に吸熱反応を誘発してチャー(char)を生成するポリウレタン(PU)とを備えてなり、
前記安全フィルムが、電池ケースの内面または外面、電極組立体またはキャップアセンブリ部位に設置されてなる、リチウム二次電池。 - 前記安全フィルムが、フィルムの全体重量を基準にして20〜50重量%の膨張性グラファイトと、20〜50重量%のPUとを備えてなる、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記安全フィルムが、基材フィルムの内部に膨張性グラファイト及びPUが添加されることで製造されてなるものである、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記安全フィルムが、基材フィルムの表面に膨張性グラファイト及びPUがコーティングされることで製造されてなるものである、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記安全フィルムが、基材フィルムとしてのPUの内部に膨張性グラファイトが添加されることで製造されてなるものである、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記安全フィルムが、フィルムの全体重量を基準にして膨張性グラファイトを20〜40重量%で含んでなるものである、請求項5に記載のリチウム二次電池。
- 前記二次電池が、多数のバイセルまたはフルセルを含む電極組立体からなり、
前記安全フィルムが、バイセルまたはフルセルの間に挿入されてなるものである、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載のリチウム二次電池。
