Description

Claims (31)
- 血管動脈瘤を治療するための装置であって、
第1の端部及び第2の端部を有する1つ又は2つ以上の支持部材を含み且つ長手方向軸線を含む閉塞支持装置を有し、第1の端部から前記第2の端部にわたる自由空間が構成され、
更に、前記長手方向軸線上に位置する動脈瘤のネックを埋めるように前記閉塞支持装置の第1の端部に配置された末端キャップと、を有し、
前記末端キャップは、開口を有し、且つ、反応材料を含み、前記反応材料は、前記閉塞支持装置の配送時に拡張して前記開口の寸法を減少させるように構成される、装置。 - 前記末端キャップは、前記1つ又は2つ以上の支持部材のうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記末端キャップは、直径が減少する円形状に形成された支持部材を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記末端キャップは、複数の織り合わせ支持部材を含み、前記複数の織り合わせ支持部材は、窓付きの末端キャップを形成する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記反応材料が前記末端キャップに付加される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記末端キャップは、多孔性材料を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記末端キャップは、それを通り抜ける血流の抵抗を増大させることができる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記末端キャップは、1又は2以上のフィラメント状要素を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記フィラメント状要素は、コイル、布、織り合わされたもの、メッシュ、スクリーン及びケーブルからなるグループから選択される末端キャップを形成するように配列される、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記反応材料はヒドロゲルである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記反応材料は、生理学的pHの変化に応じて拡張するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記末端キャップは、複数のワイヤからするメッシュ部材を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記メッシュ部材は、自己拡張性の細いワイヤからなる、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記メッシュ部材は、低空隙率メッシュ部材である、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記低空隙率メッシュ部材は、無孔性障壁である、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記末端キャップは、前記閉塞支持装置の長手方向軸線に沿って、末端キャップの直径よりも短い長さを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記末端キャップは、前記閉塞支持装置の長手方向軸線に沿って、末端キャップの直径の2倍よりも短い長さを有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記閉塞支持装置は、実質的に円筒形であり、且つ、前記閉塞支持装置を貫通する窓部を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記末端キャップは、互いに編み合わされた複数の前記1つ又は2つ以上の末端キャップ支持部材を含む、請求項18に記載の装置。
- 前記閉塞支持装置は、ステントである、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ステントは、前記閉塞支持装置を貫く窓部を定める支持部材からなる、請求項20に記載の装置。
- 更に、前記長手方向軸線に沿い且つ前記末端キャップを固定部材に連結する複数の細長い部材を有する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記末端キャップは、自己拡張性末端キャップ部材ワイヤからなり、前記細長い部材は、前記末端キャップ部材と同じ自己拡張性材料を含み、前記細長い部材は、前記末端キャップ部材ワイヤと同じ寸法のワイヤを含む、請求項22に記載の装置。
- 前記細長い部材は、前記末端キャップワイヤの延長部である、請求項23に記載の装置。
- 前記細長い部材は、前記末端キャップに取付けられる、請求項23に記載の装置。
- 更に、前記閉塞支持装置の第2の端部のところに固定部材を有し、前記固定部材は、前記末端キャップ及び前記細長い部材と同じ自己拡張性材料を含む、請求項23に記載の装置。
- 前記細長い部材は、前記閉塞支持装置の第2の端部の固定部材の延長部である、請求項23に記載の装置。
- 血管動脈瘤を治療するための装置であって、
長手方向軸線、第1の端部及び第2の端部を有する閉塞支持装置と、
前記長手方向軸線上に位置する動脈瘤のネックを埋めるように前記閉塞支持装置の第1の端部に配置された末端キャップと、を有し、
前記末端キャップは、末端キャップ直径を有し、前記末端キャップの直径は、前記閉塞支持装置の長手方向軸線に対して略垂直であり、
前記末端キャップは、開口を有し、且つ、反応材料を含み、前記反応材料は、前記閉塞支持装置の配送時に拡張して前記開口の寸法を減少させるように構成される、装置。 - 前記反応材料は、生理学的pHの変化に応じて拡張するように構成される、請求項28に記載の装置。
- 血管動脈瘤を治療するための装置であって、
長手方向軸線を有する細長い骨組構造を含む閉塞支持装置と、
前記長手方向軸線に対して略垂直な直径を有し且つ前記長手方向軸線上に位置する動脈瘤のネックを埋めるように前記閉塞支持装置の第1の端部に配置されたメッシュ末端キャップと、を有し、
前記末端キャップは、開口を有し、且つ、反応材料を含み、前記反応材料は、前記閉塞支持装置の配送時に拡張して前記開口の寸法を減少させるように構成され、
更に、前記閉塞支持装置の第2の端部に配置された固定部材を有する、装置。 - 前記反応材料は、生理学的pHの変化に応じて拡張するように構成される、請求項30に記載の装置。
