Description
例えば、プリズムシートは、光出射側の面に断面三角形状のプリズムが多数配列されており、プリズムシートに入射した光をプリズム斜面で屈折透過させることで正面方向に集光する作用を行う。また、特にモバイル機器用途では、プリズム列が直交するように2枚のプリズムシートを重ねて配置することで、2方向の光を効率よく集光し正面輝度を向上させる構成例が知られている(下記特許文献1参照)。
Px≦Pp/(14−0.045Pp)、かつ
Py≦Pp/(11.5−0.032Pp)
の関係を満たすことを特徴とする。
好ましくは、Pp≧222の場合、Px≦50、Py≦50、|Px−Py|<50とする。また、222>Pp≧144の場合は、Px≦20、Py≦20、|Px−Py|<20とする。更に、144>Pp≧136.5の場合、Px≦15、Py≦20、−20<Px−Py<15とする。
Px≦Pp/(14−0.045Pp)、かつ
Py≦Pp/(11.5−0.032Pp) ……(1)
の関係を満たすように構成されている。
例えば、画素ピッチPpが222μmの場合、Px,Pyの上限値はそれぞれ約55μm及び56μm、画素ピッチ144μmの場合にはPx,Pyの上限値はそれぞれ約19μm及び約20μm、画素ピッチ136.5μmの場合、Px,Pyの上限値はそれぞれ約17μm及び19μmとなる。
Claims (6)
- 光源と、液晶表示パネルと、前記光源からの出射光を集光して前記液晶表示パネル側へ導く集光シートとを備え、
前記集光シートは、
一方の面に集光性をもつ第1の凹凸構造が前記液晶表示パネルの横方向に沿って第1の配列ピッチで周期的に配列された第1の集光シートと、
一方の面に集光性をもつ第2の凹凸構造が前記液晶表示パネルの縦方向に沿って前記第1の配列ピッチとは異なる第2の配列ピッチで周期的に配列された第2の集光シートとを有し、
前記液晶表示パネルの画素ピッチをPp[μm]、前記第1の配列ピッチをPx[μm]、前記第2の配列ピッチをPy[μm]としたときに、
Px≦Pp/(14−0.045Pp)、かつ
Py≦Pp/(11.5−0.032Pp)
の関係を満たす
液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1,第2の凹凸構造は、断面三角形状のプリズム構造である
請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1,第2の凹凸構造のうち少なくとも一方は、非球面レンズ形状である
請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。 - Pp≧222のとき、
Px≦50、Py≦50、|Px−Py|<50である
