コロイド状BEAスラリーを、水酸化テトラエチルアンモニウム(40%溶液)210.8g、Al(NO3)39H2O 13.88g、およびシリカ酸(水10.2%)68.66gを組み合わせることによって調製した。混合物を、10分間沸騰させ、次いで70℃で37日間加熱した。生成物を、水で、最終洗浄水のpH 11.2まで洗浄した。洗浄後、結晶を、脱ミネラル水中に再分散し、そのまま貯蔵した。シードとして使用する前に、スラリーを、新規に水で希釈した。

異なるシーディングレベル、および用いられた合成時間は、次の表に示されるように、異なるサイズの結晶をもたらした。比較の目的で、BEAシーディングをしない運転を行い、これを表に含めた。
交差形態を有するZSM−48結晶の三種の異なるバッチを、NaOH 10.51g、Al2(SO4)318H2O 2.26g、Ludox AS−40(40%SiO2/水)252.27g、1,8ジアミノオクタンテンプレート76.75g、およびH2O 358.8gから調製された混合物を用いて調製した。次いで、実施例7で調製されたコロイド状BEAスラリーを、新規に水で希釈し、実施例7におけると同量で添加した。約5分間の混合後、ゲルを、オートクレーブ中で、室温から150℃まで2時間で加熱し、次いでその温度で20時間保持した。室温に冷却した後、生成物を、水で、洗浄水がpH約9.5を有するまで洗浄した。洗浄された生成物を、次いで、120℃で乾燥した。XRDは、優れた結晶性を示した。また、結晶サイズは、用いられたコロイド状シードの量に従って、実施例7におけるように異なった。
Claims (8)
- SiO2/Al2O3比150/1未満を有し、ZSM−50およびケニヤイト不純物を実質的に含まず、直径1μm未満を有し、繊維状形態を実質的に含まないことを特徴とする純相高活性ZSM−48結晶。
- ZSM−48結晶の製造方法であって、
ZSM−5、ZSM−11、ZSM−12、コロイド状BEA、ベータ、XおよびYゼオライトからなる群から選択されるヘテロ構造ゼオライトシード、アルミナ供給源、シリカ供給源、アルカリまたはアルカリ土類金属(M)、水および少なくとも一種の有機テンプレート物質(R)を有効な量だけ混合して、酸化物のモル比として表して下記の組成:
SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 20/1〜2500/1
OH−/SiO 2 0/1〜2.0/1
H2O/SiO 2 1/1〜500/1
M+/SiO 2 0/1〜2.0/1
R/SiO 2 0.001/1〜5.0/1
を有する反応混合物を形成する工程;および
前記反応混合物を、効果的な結晶化条件下で、ZSM−48結晶を形成するのに十分な時間保持する工程
を含むことを特徴とする製造方法。 - 前記有機テンプレートは、有機線状ジ四級アルキルアンモニウム化合物および線状ジアミノアルカンからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の製造方法。
- 前記ヘテロ構造ゼオライトシードの有効な量は、反応混合物の全重量を基準として0.01重量ppm〜5重量%の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の製造方法。
- 前記ヘテロ構造ゼオライトシードは、ZSM−5、ZSM−11、ZSM−12、ベータ、XおよびYゼオライト並びにそれらの混合物からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の製造方法。
- 前記ヘテロ構造ゼオライトシードは、0.01重量ppm〜0.1重量%の範囲の量のコロイド状BEAシードであり、それにより前記ZSM−48結晶は、交差形態および結晶サイズ1〜15μmを有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の製造方法。
- 純相高活性ZSM−48の調製方法であって、
(a)シリカ供給源、アルミナ供給源、アルカリ金属またはアルカリ土類金属(M)、水、有機テンプレート(R)、並びにZSM−48およびZSM−50シード以外のヘテロ構造ゼオライトシードを含む反応混合物を調製する工程であって、前記混合物は、酸化物のモル比として表して、下記の組成:
SiO2/Al2O3:30/1〜500/1
M+/SiO2:0.02/1〜0.8/1
OH−/SiO2:0.02/1〜0.5/1
H2O/SiO2:10/1〜100/1
R/SiO2=0.005/1〜1.0/1
(式中、M+は、アルカリ金属であり、Rは、線状ジ四級アンモニウム化合物または線状ジアミノアルカンの有機構造剤源である。)
を有する工程;および
(b)前記混合物を、効果的な結晶化条件下で、前記ZSM−48の結晶が形成されるまで保持する工程
を含むことを特徴とする調製方法。 - 前記混合物は、下記の組成範囲:
SiO2/Al2O3:40/1〜200/1
M+/SiO2:0.1/1〜0.6/1
OH−/SiO2:0.1/1〜0.5/1
H2O/SiO2:15/1〜60/1
R/SiO2=0.01/1〜0.5/1
を有することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の調製方法。
