Description
給紙ユニット101bは、給紙トレイ11と、給紙ローラ12とを有している。給紙トレイ11は、上方に向かって開口した箱形状を有しており、複数枚の用紙Pが積層された状態で収納される。給紙ローラ12は、給紙トレイ11の最も上方にある用紙Pを送り出す。送り出された用紙Pは、ガイド13a、13bによりガイドされ且つ送りローラ対14によって挟持されつつ搬送機構16へと送られる。
以上は、本発明の好適な実施形態についての説明であるが、本発明は上述の実施形態に限られるものではなく、課題を解決するための手段に記載された範囲の限りにおいて様々な変更が可能なものである。

Claims (5)
- 液体を吐出する吐出口と前記吐出口に連通した圧力室とを有するインク流路と、前記圧力室の容積をV1とする容積小状態と前記圧力室の容積をV1より大きいV2とする容積大状態とを選択的に取るアクチュエータとを有する記録ヘッドと、
前記アクチュエータの状態を変化させて前記吐出口から液体を吐出させる吐出駆動信号と、前記吐出口から液体が吐出されない程度に前記容積小状態から前記容積大状態を経て前記容積小状態に前記アクチュエータの状態を変化させる不吐出駆動信号とを選択的に前記アクチュエータに供給するヘッド駆動手段とを備えており、
前記ヘッド駆動手段が、
前記アクチュエータが前記圧力室内の液体に負圧を印加し始めるタイミングである増加タイミングから、前記アクチュエータが前記圧力室内の液体に正圧を印加し始めるタイミングである減少タイミングまでの第1の時間、及び、前記不吐出駆動信号を供給してから次の前記不吐出駆動信号を供給するまでの第2の時間の少なくともいずれかを増加及び減少を繰り返すように変化させながら、且つ、前記増加タイミングにおいて前記アクチュエータが前記圧力室内の液体に印加した圧力が前記インク流路を伝播することで前記吐出口の近傍の液体に前記吐出口外へと押し出す圧力として作用する期間内に、前記増加タイミング後の前記減少タイミングにおいて前記アクチュエータが前記圧力室内の液体に印加した圧力が前記インク流路を伝播することで前記吐出口の近傍の液体に前記吐出口内に引き戻す圧力として作用するように、前記不吐出駆動信号を前記アクチュエータに連続して供給することを特徴とする記録装置。 - 前記ヘッド駆動手段が、
前記減少タイミングにおいて前記アクチュエータが前記圧力室内の液体に印加した圧力が前記インク流路を伝播することで前記吐出口の近傍の液体に前記吐出口内に引き戻す圧力として作用する期間内に、前記減少タイミング後の前記増加タイミングにおいて前記アクチュエータが前記圧力室内の液体に印加した圧力が前記インク流路を伝播することで前記吐出口の近傍の液体に前記吐出口から押し出す圧力として作用するように、前記不吐出駆動信号を供給することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の記録装置。 - 前記ヘッド駆動手段が、
前記第1の時間を変化させず、前記第2の時間を増加及び減少を繰り返すように変化させながら、前記不吐出駆動信号を前記アクチュエータに連続して供給することを特徴とする請求項1又は2のいずれか1項に記載の記録装置。 - 前記ヘッド駆動手段が、
前記第2の時間が異なるように時間的に配列された複数の前記不吐出駆動信号を1ブロックとする信号を繰り返し前記アクチュエータに供給することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の記録装置。 - 前記複数の不吐出駆動信号が、いずれも前記第2の時間が異なるように時間的に配列されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の記録装置。
