Claims (17)
- 患者の体内に医療器具を送達して配備するシステムであって、
前記医療器具が取り付けられる領域を備えた内側カテーテル部材と、前記内側カテーテル部材及び前記医療器具上に同軸状に嵌められた外側拘束部材を含む送達カテーテルを有し、前記外側拘束部材は、前記内側カテーテル部材に対して軸方向に運動できるようになっており、
格納機構に連結されている回転式サムホイールを備えた操作ハンドルを有し、前記内側カテーテル部材は、前記操作ハンドルに取り付けられた近位端部を有し、前記外側拘束部材は、前記格納機構に取り付けられた近位端部を有し、前記サムホイールの回転により、前記格納機構の直線運動が引き起こされて前記外側拘束部材のシースが近位側へ引っ込められ、前記内側カテーテル部材が静止状態のままで前記医療器具が露出され、
前記医療器具をいつでも配備できるような状態になるまで前記格納機構が近位側へ動くのを阻止するロック機構を有し、このロック機構は、前記格納機構の一部分と接触した状態で前記格納機構の動きを阻止する係止アームを備え、前記ロック機構は、このロック機構をロックされた位置又はロックが解除された位置のいずれかに維持する付勢要素を備え、前記ロック機構は、更に、前記操作ハンドルの外面に配置された指係合部材を備え、この指係合部材は、前記付勢要素によって達成される付勢力に打ち勝ちように前記指係合部材に内方への力が付与されることによって作動し、前記指係合部材を摺動させることによって前記指係合部材を前記操作ハンドルに沿って移動させ、前記付勢要素は、前記指係合部材に取り付けられたカム状ばねであり、前記操作ハンドルに形成された支持面に係合し、前記カム状ばねは、前記操作ハンドルに形成された支持面に沿って摺動する接触面を備えた一対の弾性アームを備えており、
更に、一方向のみの前記格納機構の運動を可能にする手段を有することを特徴とする送達システム。 - 前記内側カテーテル部材は、前記内側カテーテル部材の前記近位端部から前記内側カテーテル部材の前記遠位端部まで延びるガイドワイヤルーメンを有する、請求項1記載の送達システム。
- 空気を前記送達カテーテルから排出する手段を更に有する、請求項1記載の送達システム。
- 前記送達カテーテルは、前記外側拘束部材の一部上に嵌まった状態で同軸状に延びると共に前記操作ハンドルに取り付けられた外側シースを更に有し、前記外側シースは、前記外側拘束部材が前記操作ハンドルを介して引っ込められているときに、前記内側カテーテル部材の前記遠位端部が遠位側へ動くのを阻止するために前記送達カテーテル用の導管となるよう前記患者の入口箇所に取り付け可能である、請求項1記載の送達システム。
- 前記外側シースは、前記操作ハンドルに着脱自在に取り付けられている、請求項4記載の送達システム。
- 前記外側シースの前記近位端部は、前記操作ハンドルに着脱自在に取り付けられた歪逃がし部材に取り付けられている、請求項4記載の送達システム。
- 前記歪逃がし部材は、チャネルが形成された近位端部を有し、前記操作ハンドルは、該操作ハンドルに形成された遠位凹部及び該遠位凹部内に延びるタブ状部材を有し、前記チャネルは、前記歪逃がし部材を前記操作ハンドルに螺合させることができるよう前記タブ状部材を受け入れるようになっている、請求項6記載の送達システム。
- 前記歪逃がし部材に形成された前記チャネル内へ延びる突起を更に有し、該突起は、回転力が前記歪逃がし部材に加えられるまで、前記タブ状部材が前記突起を越えて動くのを阻止する当接面を形成している、請求項7記載の送達システム。
- 前記格納機構は、前記操作ハンドルに形成されたチャネル内で摺動できる歯車ラック及び該歯車ラックの歯車部に取り付けられた平歯車を有し、前記サムホイールには作動歯車が取り付けられ、該作動歯車は、前記サムホイールを回転させたとき、前記歯車ラックが前記チャネル内で直線運動するように前記平歯車と噛み合っている、請求項1記載の送達システム。
- 前記歯車ラックの偶発的な運動を阻止する停止手段を更に有する、請求項9記載の送達システム。
- 一方向のみの前記格納機構の運動を可能にする前記手段は、前記歯車ラックの遠位側への運動を阻止するよう、前記歯車ラックを形成する前記歯車部の遠位側表面に接触する縁部を備えたばねである、請求項9記載の送達システム。
- 前記外側拘束部材と前記内側カテーテル部材との間に配置された抗凝固剤を更に有する、請求項1記載の送達システム。
- 前記外側拘束部材と前記外側シースとの間に配置された抗凝固剤を更に有する、請求項4記載の送達システム。
- 前記外側シースは、前記外側シースの前記近位部分よりも小さな内径を備えた遠位部分を有する、請求項4記載の送達システム。
- 前記医療器具は、自己拡張型医療器具である、請求項1記載の送達システム。
