Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 管状の内腔内人工補綴物に使用される送出システムであって、 基端部と、末端部と、該末端部の近傍で前記人工補綴物を受け入れ可能 である内腔とを有する鞘と、 前記鞘の内腔内の部材であって前記鞘が前記部材に関する第1の位置か ら第2の位置へ移動するときに前記内腔から前記人工補綴物を追い出すように適 合された部材と、 前記部材に取り付けられた操作機構であって前記鞘が前記第1の位置と 前記第2の位置との間で移動するときに変化する機械的倍率をもって前記鞘にハ ンドルを連結する操作機構とを含む、送出システム。 2. 前記部材に関する前記ハンドルの変位は前記鞘が前記第1の位置の近傍 にあるときに前記部材に関する前記鞘の第1の変位を生じさせ、また、前記ハン ドルの変位は前記鞘が前記第2の位置の近傍にあるときに前記第1の鞘の変位と 異なる、前記鞘の第2の変位を生じさせる、請求項1に記載の送出システム。 3. 前記第1の鞘の変位は前記第2の鞘の変位より小さい、請求項1に記載 の送出システム。 4. 前記機械的倍率は、前記鞘が前記第1の位置の近傍にあるとき、前記人 工補綴物と前記鞘との間の静的摩擦力に打ち勝つように適合され、また、前記機 械的倍率は、前記鞘が前記第2の位置の近傍にあるとき、前記静止摩擦力より小 さい動摩擦力に打ち勝ちかつ前記鞘からの前記人工補綴物の追い出し速度を高め るように適合されている、請求項1に記載の送出システム。 5. 前記操作機構は軸線を規定するねじを含み、また、前記ねじのピッチは 前記ねじの軸線に沿って変化する、請求項1に記載のシステム。 6. 前記ねじは多リードねじを含み、また、前記操作機構は、さらに、スラ イダを含み、前記スライダは、該スライダと前記ねじとを構成するグループの1 つの部材が他の部材に関して回転するように前記ねじと係合する複数のピンを有 する、請求項5に記載の送出システム。 7. 前記ハンドルは前記鞘と実質的に整列する管状構造を含み、前記ハンド ルは、前記鞘の軸線の周りの前記ハンドルの回転が前記部材の移動を生じさせる ように前記鞘に連結されている、請求項5に記載の送出システム。 8. 前記操作機構、前記鞘および前記部材は、取り外し不能に連結された使 い捨て可能のポリマー構造を含む、請求項1に記載の送出システム。 9. 半径方向に膨張可能である管状の内腔内人工補綴物に使用される補綴送 出システムであって、 基端部と、末端部と、これらの端部間の軸線と、前記末端部の近傍で前 記人工補綴物を受け入れ可能である内腔とを有する鞘と、 部材であって、前記鞘が前記部材に関する第1の位置から第2の位置へ 移動するときに前記内腔から前記人工補綴物を追い出すための前記内腔内の部材 と、 前記部材に取り付けられた操作機構であって、該操作機構は前記鞘をハ ンドルに連結し、前記ハンドルは、前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置への前記 鞘の移動を生じさせるために前記鞘の軸線に実質的に平行な軸線の周りに回転可 能である、操作機構とを含む、送出システム。 10. 前記操作機構、前記鞘および前記部材は、取り外し不能に連結された使 い捨て可能のポリマー構造を含む、請求項9に記載の送出システム。 11. 前記操作機構は、さらに、スライダと、該スライダに前記ハンドルの一 部を連結するねじとを含み、前記スライダは、前記ハンドルが回転するときに前 記スライダが軸線方向へ移動するように、ハウジングに関して回転が制限されて いる、請求項9に記載の送出システム。 12. 前記ハンドルは、前記鞘と実質的に同軸状に配置された管状構造を含む 、 請求項11に記載の送出システム。 13. 前記回転可能のハンドルの一部が前記ねじを規定する内面を有し、前記 スライダは前記部材に連結され、また、前記ねじが回転するときに前記部材を引 っ張るように前記ねじと係合している、請求項12に記載の送出システム。 14. 前記ねじのピッチが前記回転可能のハンドルの一部の軸線方向長さに沿 って変化する、請求項11に記載の送出システム。 15. 前記操作機構は、前記鞘を軸線方向に前記部材に関して約7.0インチ および10.0インチ間の距離だけ移動させることができる、請求項9に記載の 送出システム。 16. さらに、前記鞘の全面にわたって配置された外管であって、前記鞘が前 記第1の位置から前記第2の位置へ移動するときに前記外管が前記部材と軸線方 向に整列したままでいるように前記ハウジングに連結されている、請求項9に記 載の送出システム。 17. さらに、前記鞘の周りおよび前記外管の周りの止血を維持することがで きる導入弁と、前記部材と前記さや管との間および前記外管と前記鞘との間の滑 りシールとを含む、請求項16に記載の送出システム。 18. 患者の身体に管状の内腔内人工補綴物を挿入するための送出システムで あって、 基端部と、末端部と、前記末端部の近傍で前記人工補綴物を受け入れ可 能である内腔とを有する鞘と、 前記内腔に配置された部材であって前記鞘が前記部材に関する第1の位 置から第2の位置へ移動するときに前記内腔から前記人工補綴物を追い出すよう に適合された部材と、 前記鞘の全面に配置された外管と、 前記鞘の基端部の近傍で前記部材に連結されたハウジングであって、前 記鞘が前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置へ移動するときに前記外管が前記部材 と実質的に軸線方向の整列を維持するように前記外管に連結されたハウジングと を含む、送出システム。 19. 半径方向へ膨張可能である管状の内腔内人工補綴物を配置するための方 法であって、 前記人工補綴物が鞘の内腔内に配置されるときに身体の内腔における目 標位置に前記人工補綴物を位置決めること、 前記鞘を第1の位置から第2の位置へ基端部側に引っ込めるためにハン ドルを操作することにより前記鞘から前記人工補綴物を解放することを含み、前 記ハンドルの変位が、前記鞘が前記第1の位置の近傍にあるときに前記鞘の第1 の変位を生じさせ、前記ハンドルの変位が、前記鞘が前記第2の位置の近傍にあ るときに前記第1の鞘の変位と異なる前記鞘の第2の変位を生じさせる、方法。 20. 半径方向へ膨張可能である管状の内腔内人工補綴物を配置する方法であ って、 前記人工補綴物が鞘の内腔内に配置される間に前記人工補綴物を身体の 内腔内の目標位置に配置すること、 前記鞘を前記人工補綴物の全部から軸線方向へ移動させるために前記鞘 の軸線に平行である軸線の周りにハンドルを回転させることにより前記鞘から前 記人工補綴物を解放することを含む、方法。 21. 半径方向へ膨張可能である管状の内腔内人工補綴物を配置する方法であ って、 前記人工補綴物が鞘の内腔内に配置されている間に導入弁を通して身体 の内腔内へ前記人工補綴物を挿入すること、 前記導入弁を通して外管を挿入すること、 前記身体の内腔内の目標位置に前記人工補綴物を位置決めること、 前記鞘を引っ込めることにより前記鞘から前記人工補綴物を解放しかつ 前記鞘内に配置された部材で前記人工補綴物を拘束すること、 前記導入弁と前記外管との間の摩擦が前記目標位置からの前記人工補綴 物の移動を阻止するのに役立つように、前記人工補綴物を解放する間に前記部材 を前記外管に関して軸線方向に拘束することを含む、方法。
