Description
本発明は、重合体のマトリックスにナノ構造を組み込んだ重合体を製造する方法に関する。
航空宇宙および自動車の透明部分、光学レンズ、塗装組成物、繊維ガラスの表面改質剤のような製品は、種々の重合体から製造される。良好な製品を製造しようとして、科学者およびエンジニアは、これらの製品を製造するのに使用される重合体の性能特性を最適にしようと試みている。重合体の性能特性を最適にするために、様々な技術が提案されている。
本明細書中で使用する寸法、物理的特性、加工パラメータ、成分の量、反応条件などを示す全ての数値または表現は、いずれの場合にも、「約」との用語により修飾されることが理解できるはずである。従って、以下の明細書および請求の範囲で述べた数値は、他にそうでないことが示されていない限り、本発明で得るように求めた所望の特性に依存して、変わり得る。少なくとも、この請求の範囲の等価物の原則の適用に限定しようとするのではなく、各数値は、少なくとも、報告された有効数字の数に照らして、通常の端数計算技術を適用することにより、解釈すべきである。さらに、本明細書中で開示した全ての範囲は、範囲の始まりおよび終わりの値ならびにその中に組み込まれる任意の全ての副次範囲を包含することが理解できるはずである。例えば、「1〜10」と述べられた範囲は、最小数である1と最大数である10との間の全ての副次範囲(これらの数を含めて)、すなわち、1またはそれ以上の最小数で始まり10またはそれ未満の最大数で終わる全ての副次範囲(例えば、1.0〜3.8、6.6〜9.7および5.5〜10)を含むと見なすべきである。
Claims (9)
- 重合体のマトリックス中に酸化インジウムスズ(ITO)ナノ構造を有するPVB重合体を製造する方法であって、該方法は、以下の工程を包含する:
a.ポリビニルアルコールを含有する該重合体のための前駆体溶液を、三塩化モノブチルスズおよび酢酸インジウムから選択される該ナノ構造のための前駆体と混合して、混合物を形成する工程;
b.該ナノ構造の該前駆体から、該混合物中にてナノ構造を形成する工程であって、該混合物のpHを調節する工程、次いで、該混合物を200℃に等しいかそれ未満の温度に加熱する工程を包含する、工程;および
c.ポリビニルアルコールを該混合物に添加し、そして、該混合物をブチルアルデヒドと反応させて、該重合体マトリックス中に該ナノ構造を有する重合体を形成する工程。 - 前記混合物のpHを調節する工程が、該混合物にアンモニアを加える工程を包含する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記重合体が、容量に基づいて、0.1%〜90%の範囲のナノ構造濃度を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記重合体が、容量に基づいて、15%〜80%の範囲のナノ構造濃度を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記重合体が、1nm〜1,000nmの範囲の最長寸法を有するナノ構造を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記重合体が、層状ガラス透明物を作製するのに使用される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記層状ガラス透明物が、1%に等しいかそれ未満のヘイズを有する、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 重合体のマトリックス中に酸化インジウムスズ(ITO)ナノ構造を有するポリウレタン重合体を製造する方法であって、該方法は、以下の工程を包含する:
a.トリメチロールプロパン、メチレンビス(4−シクロヘキシルイソシアネート)、チオジエタノールを含む該ポリウレタン重合体のための前駆体溶液を、三塩化モノブチルスズおよび酢酸インジウムから選択される該ナノ構造のための前駆体と混合して、混合物を形成する工程;
b.該ナノ構造の該前駆体から、該混合物中にてナノ構造を形成する工程であって、該混合物のpHを調節する工程、次いで、該混合物を200℃に等しいかそれ未満の温度に加熱する工程を包含する、工程;および
c.1,4−ブタンジオールを該混合物に添加し、該混合物を82.2℃に加熱し、そして、該混合物をスズ触媒と反応させて、該重合体マトリックス中に該ナノ構造を有する重合体を形成する工程。 - 前記重合体が、帯電防止被覆を作製するのに使用される、請求項8に記載の方法。
