Description
燃焼室4に繋がるエンジン側の吸気通路5と、エアクリーナ7に繋がるスロットル装置側の吸気通路8とを接続して連通した吸気通路を形成し、スロットル装置3から供給される燃料及び空気を燃焼室4に導く。

Claims (3)
- 燃焼室(4)に繋がる内燃機関(2)側の吸気通路(5)と、前記燃焼室(4)に供給する燃料及び空気の流量を調整設定するスロットル装置(3)側の吸気通路(8)とを接続して連通した吸気通路を形成し、前記スロットル装置(3)から供給される前記燃料及び空気を前記燃焼室(4)に導くインシュレータ(11)の構造であって、
前記インシュレータ(11)は、
筒状に形成されて軸方向両端部が開放され、軸方向一端側に下流側通路形成部の吸気孔突部(42)が接続されるとともに、軸方向他端側に上流側通路形成部のコネクタ部(43)が接続される外筒部(51)と、
前記外筒部(51)の内面に略平板状に立設し、前記外筒部(51)に接続された前記吸気孔突部(42)と前記コネクタ部(43)との間に位置するように形成された仕切壁(55)とを備えて構成されており、
前記仕切壁(55)は、前記吸気孔突部(42)の内径および前記コネクタ部(43)の内径に対して小径に形成され、且つ上流側から下流側に向かうに従って開口面積が小さくなるロート状となった制限部(65)を備えたことを特徴とするインシュレータ構造。 - 前記インシュレータ(11)は、前記制限部(65)を備えた前記仕切壁(55)が前記外筒部(51)の内部に取り付けられて構成され、
前記スロットル装置(3)は、前記燃料を噴射する燃料噴射装置(35)と、前記空気の流量を調整設定するスロットルバルブ(32)とを備えて構成され、
前記燃料噴射装置(35)は、その噴射燃料の中心線(C 35 )が前記スロットルバルブ(32)の下流側において、前記吸気通路(8)の中心線(C 8 )から前記吸気通路(5)の中心線(C 5 )に繋がる線と交差し、前記制限部(65)に向けて燃料を噴射可能な向きで前記コネクタ部(43)に取り付けられており、
前記制限部(65)は、前記噴射燃料の中心線(C 35 )に沿うように開口形成されるとともに、前記制限部(65)の下流側の開口縁に対して前記制限部(65)の上流側の開口縁が前記燃料噴射装置(35)側に位置するように開口形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインシュレータ構造。 - 前記制限部(65)の上流側および下流側の開口縁中心、並びに前記噴射燃料の中心線(C 35 )が、前記吸気通路(8)の中心線(C 8 )から前記吸気通路(5)の中心線(C 5 )に繋がる線に対して上方に位置したことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のインシュレータ構造。
