Description
・ 粒径が小さいことと、球状であることから、特に、射出成形によって玉軸受用保持器を形成した際に、突起の表面部に形成されるスキン層の近傍まで効率よく分布できることや、
・ 無機物であって高温での耐久性に優れるため、高温環境下でも、良好な潤滑性能を維持できること、
といった利点を有するため、特に、高温環境下で使用した際に、突起とボールとの間の潤滑を維持して、突起が短期間で摩滅するのを防止する効果を、さらに向上することができる。

CB 球状カーボン
ポリフェニレンスルフィド−ポリアミドイミド複合樹脂60重量部と、平均粒径15μmの球状カーボン10重量部と、ガラス繊維30重量部とを溶融、混練して樹脂組成物を作製し、この樹脂組成物を用いて、射出成形により、図1に示す形状を有する冠型保持器4を製造した。
ポリエーテルエーテルケトン60重量部と、平均粒径15μmの球状カーボン10重量部と、ガラス繊維30重量部とを溶融、混練して樹脂組成物を作製し、この樹脂組成物を用いて、射出成形により、図1に示す形状を有する冠型保持器4を製造した。
ポリフェニレンスルフィド−ポリアミドイミド複合樹脂70重量部と、ガラス繊維30重量部とを溶融、混練して樹脂組成物を作製し、この樹脂組成物を用いて、射出成形により、図1に示す形状を有する冠型保持器4を製造した。
ポリエーテルエーテルケトン70重量部と、ガラス繊維30重量部とを溶融、混練して樹脂組成物を作製し、この樹脂組成物を用いて、射出成形により、図1に示す形状を有する冠型保持器4を製造した。
実施例1、2、比較例1、2で製造した冠型保持器4を、玉軸受1に組み込み、所定量のグリースを充てんした状態で、図12に示す試験装置に組み込んだ。図の試験装置は、内部にカートリッジヒータ11を備える固定側ハウジング12と、前記固定側ハウジング12に対して、そのフロント側に組み込まれる、試験する玉軸受1と、リヤ側に組み込まれる軸受13とによって、回転自在に支持される回転軸14と、前記回転軸14の、フロント側の一端に固定されるプーリ15と、前記プーリ15と図示しないモータの駆動軸との間に掛け渡されるポリVベルト16とを備えている。
Claims (4)
- 全体が、総量の3重量%以上、40重量%以下の球状カーボン、および強化繊維を含む樹脂組成物を射出成形してリング状に形成された、玉軸受の内外の軌道輪間に配設される本体と、前記玉軸受のボールを収容する複数のポケットを構成するために、前記本体に形成された、玉軸受のボールと相似形状の凹球面状を有し、かつ、前記本体の、リングの内面および外面でそれぞれ開口された、複数のポケット面とを備え、前記少なくとも1つのポケットを構成するポケット面の、本体のリングの内面および外面のうち一方への開口に近い領域に、ポケット面からポケット内方に突出された突起が形成されていると共に、少なくとも前記突起を形成する樹脂組成物に、前記球状カーボンが含まれているとともに、前記強化繊維は前記突起を形成している樹脂組成物に前記本体の樹脂組成物から入り込み難いことを特徴とする玉軸受用保持器。
- 前記球状カーボンは、前記突起の表面部に形成されるスキン層の近傍まで分布している請求項1に記載の玉軸受用保持器。
- 球状カーボンの平均粒径が、100μm以下である請求項1または2に記載の玉軸受用保持器。
- 内外の軌道輪と、両軌道輪間に配設される、請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の玉軸受用保持器と、前記玉軸受用保持器の複数のポケットに保持された状態で、両軌道輪間を転がる複数のボールとを備えることを特徴とする玉軸受。
