Description
Claims (7)
- 電子装置の第一の部分と第二の部分との間でデータを伝送するための光データリンクであって、前記電子装置の第一の部分は第一の回路基板を含み、前記電子装置の第二の部分は第二の回路基板を含み、電子装置の前記第一及び第二の部分は関節型ジョイントによって連結されている光データリンクであり、
第一の端部、第二の端部、及び、第一の端部と第二の端部との間に配置された中間部分を備える光ファイバと、
前記第一の回路基板に取付けられた第一の光能動装置と、
前記第二の回路基板に取付けられた第二の光能動装置と、
前記第一の光能動装置に隣接して取付けられ、該第一の光能動装置と位置合せされた状態で前記第一の端部を収容及び保持する第一の結合ユニットであって、第一の先細の窪みを備え、該第一の先細の窪みは、凸状に傾斜した側壁と、前記第一の結合ユニットの上面に形成され、光ファイバを収容するための大開口と、前記第一の結合ユニットの底面に形成され、光ファイバの一端を一つの光能動装置と位置合せするための小開口とを備え、該小開口は略鍵穴状の断面形状を備え、該鍵穴状の断面形状は、小さい開口部に連なる大きい開口部を呈し、小さい開口部と大きい開口部とは距離が短い点で接する、第一の結合ユニットと、
前記第二の光能動装置に隣接して取付けられ、該第二の光能動装置と位置合せされた状態で前記第二の端部を収容及び保持する第二の結合ユニットであって、第二の先細の窪みを備え、該第二の先細の窪みは、凸状に傾斜した側壁と、前記第二の結合ユニットの上面に形成され、光ファイバを収容するための大開口と、前記第二の結合ユニットの底面に形成され、光ファイバの一端を一つの光能動装置と位置合せするための小開口とを備え、該小開口は略鍵穴状の断面形状を備え、該鍵穴状の断面形状は、小さい開口部に連なる大きい開口部を呈し、小さい開口部と大きい開口部とは距離が短い点で接する、第二の結合ユニットと、
を有し、
光ファイバの前記中間部分は、前記光データリンクが前記第一の部分と第二の部分との間でデータを通信するように、電子装置の前記関節型ジョイント内を通っている光データリンク。 - 各凸状に傾斜した側壁の一部は約2〔mm〕の半径を画定する、請求項1に記載の光データリンク。
- 前記第一及び第二の結合ユニットの各々の底面に形成された前記小さい開口部は略円形の断面形状を備える、請求項1に記載の光データリンク。
- 第一の溝を更に有し、該第一の溝は、前記第一の結合ユニットの上面付近に配置され、第一の先細の窪みと第一の結合ユニットの側壁との間に延在し、光ファイバが前記第一の溝に挿入されたとき、光ファイバの一端付近のセグメントは、第一の先細の窪みに沿って湾曲する、請求項1に記載の光データリンク。
- 前記第一の溝の上方に配置された対向する第一の対の縁部を更に有し、該縁部間の距離は、該縁部が光ファイバを第一の溝内に保持するように該第一の溝の幅よりも小さくなっている、請求項4に記載の光データリンク。
- 第二の溝を更に有し、該第二の溝は、前記第二の結合ユニットの上面付近に配置され、第二の先細の窪みと第二の結合ユニットの側壁との間に延在し、光ファイバが前記第二の溝に挿入されたとき、光ファイバの一端付近のセグメントは、第二の先細の窪みに沿って湾曲する、請求項4に記載の光データリンク。
- 前記第二の溝の上方に配置された対向する第二の対の縁部を更に有し、該縁部間の距離は、該縁部が光ファイバを第二の溝内に保持するように該第二の溝の幅よりも小さくなっている、請求項6に記載の光データリンク。
