Claims (10)
- 基材上に形成される穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜であって、この非晶質炭素皮膜は、皮膜厚さが工具外周部の円周方向位置で異なり、また、波長532nmのレーザー光を用いてラマン散乱分光分析を行った際、ラマンシフト1330〜1360cm−1付近のピーク強度IDとラマンシフト1530〜1560cm−1付近のピーク強度IGとの比ID/IGの値が工具外周部の円周方向位置で異なり、このID/IGの円周方向での最大値を(ID/IG)max、最小値を(ID/IG)minとしたとき、下記の関係式(1)及び(2)が成り立つことを特徴とする穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜。

式(2):1<(ID/IG)max/(ID/IG)min<2 - 請求項1記載の穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜において、前記皮膜厚さの円周方向での最大値をhmax、最小値をhminとしたとき、下記の関係式(3)及び(4)が成り立つことを特徴とする穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜。

式(4):0.3≦hmin/hmax≦0.9 - 請求項1,2いずれか1項に記載の穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜において、この非晶質炭素皮膜の工具外周部の円周方向におけるID/IGの値が最小になる位置と皮膜厚さが最大になる位置との角度偏差が±90度以内であることを特徴とする穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜。
- 請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載の穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜において、この非晶質炭素皮膜は、周期律表の4a、5a、6a族及びSiから選択される1種若しくは2種以上の元素から成る金属若しくは半金属から成り、膜厚が200nm以下で基材直上に形成される下層皮膜層の上に形成されていることを特徴とする穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜。
- 請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載の穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜において、この非晶質炭素皮膜は、周期律表の4a、5a、6a族及びSiから選択される1種若しくは2種以上の元素と窒素及び炭素から選択される1種以上の元素との化合物から成り、膜厚が200nm以下で基材直上に形成される下層皮膜層の上に形成されていることを特徴とする穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜。
- 請求項1〜5いずれか1項に記載の穴明け工具用非晶質炭素皮膜が被覆されていることを特徴とする穴明け工具。
- 請求項6記載の穴明け工具であって、直径が0.25mm以下0.01mm以上であることを特徴とする穴明け工具。
- 請求項6,7いずれか1項に記載の穴明け工具において、工具先端部に前記非晶質炭素皮膜が付着していないことを特徴とする穴明け工具。
- 請求項6〜8いずれか1項に記載の穴明け工具において、基材がWCを主成分とする硬質粒子とCoを主成分とする結合材から成る超硬合金製であり、この超硬合金のWC粒子の平均粒径が0.1μm〜2μmでありCo含有量が重量%で5〜15%であることを特徴とする穴明け工具。
- 請求項6〜9いずれか1項に記載の穴明け工具において、被削材が電子回路基板または半導体パッケージ基板であることを特徴とする穴明け工具。
