Description
第5の発明は、水素発生装置の起動方法であって、該水素発生装置は、原料を供給する原料供給装置と、水を供給する水供給装置と、水供給装置から供給された水を蒸発させ、水蒸気を生成する蒸発部と、原料と水蒸気を用いた改質反応により、水素を含む改質ガスを生成させる改質触媒を有する改質触媒層と、改質触媒層で生成された改質ガス中の一酸化炭素を低減するように構成されたCO除去触媒層と、改質触媒層及びCO除去触媒層を加熱する燃焼器と、改質触媒層の温度を検知する改質温度検知器と、CO除去触媒層を加熱するヒータと、CO除去触媒層の温度を検知するCO除去温度検知器と、を備え、起動時にヒータがCO除去触媒層を加熱し、CO除去温度検知器の検知温度が第1の所定値以上になると燃焼器が改質触媒層及びCO除去触媒層を加熱し、改質温度検知器の検知温度が第2の所定値以上になると水供給装置が水の供給を開始する。

図1は、本発明の実施の形態1に係る水素発生装置の概略構成を示す模式図である。
次に、上記構成における本実施の形態の水素発生装置の動作を図2に基づき説明する。ここで、図2は、起動時の各部の状態を示した図で、横軸が起動開始後の時間、縦軸がCO除去ヒータ7の動作状態や原料供給装置4からの原料ガスの流量、水供給装置5からの水の流量、さらに改質温度検知器9やCO除去温度検知器8の温度の変化状態を示している。

Claims (7)
- 原料を供給する原料供給装置と、
水を供給する水供給装置と、
前記水供給装置から供給された水を蒸発させ、水蒸気を生成する蒸発部と、
前記原料と前記水蒸気を用いた改質反応により、水素を含む改質ガスを生成させる改質触媒を有する改質触媒層と、
前記改質触媒層で生成された前記改質ガス中の一酸化炭素を低減するように構成されたCO除去触媒層と、
前記改質触媒層及び前記CO除去触媒層を加熱する燃焼器と、
前記改質触媒層の温度を検知する改質温度検知器と、
前記CO除去触媒層を加熱するヒータと、
前記CO除去触媒層の温度を検知するCO除去温度検知器と、
起動時に前記ヒータにより前記CO除去触媒層を加熱させ、前記CO除去温度検知器の検知温度が結露発生抑制温度である第1の所定値以上になると前記燃焼器により前記改質触媒層及び前記CO除去触媒層を加熱させ、前記改質温度検知器の検知温度が結露発生抑制温度である第2の所定値以上になると前記水供給装置からの前記水の供給を開始させるように構成された制御器と、を備える、水素発生装置。 - 前記制御器は、前記改質温度検知器の検知温度が前記第2の所定値以上、かつ、炭素析出抑制温度である第3の所定値以下である場合に、前記水供給装置からの水の供給を開始させる、請求項1に記載の水素発生装置。
- 前記水素発生装置は、多重の筒状構造体であり、
前記燃焼器からの燃焼ガスが流れる燃焼ガス流路の外側に隣接する空間に、前記蒸発部が配置され、
前記蒸発部の下流側に前記改質触媒層が配置され、
前記蒸発部の外側に隣接する空間に前記CO除去触媒層が配置されている、請求項1又は2に記載の水素発生装置。 - 前記改質触媒にニッケルが含まれている、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の水素発生装置。
- 水素発生装置の起動方法であって、
前記水素発生装置は、原料を供給する原料供給装置と、水を供給する水供給装置と、前記水供給装置から供給された水を蒸発させ、水蒸気を生成する蒸発部と、前記原料と前記水蒸気を用いた改質反応により、水素を含む改質ガスを生成させる改質触媒を有する改質触媒層と、前記改質触媒層で生成された前記改質ガス中の一酸化炭素を低減するように構成されたCO除去触媒層と、前記改質触媒層及び前記CO除去触媒層を加熱する燃焼器と、前記改質触媒層の温度を検知する改質温度検知器と、前記CO除去触媒層を加熱するヒータと、前記CO除去触媒層の温度を検知するCO除去温度検知器と、を備え、
起動時に前記ヒータが前記CO除去触媒層を加熱し、前記CO除去温度検知器の検知温度が結露発生抑制温度である第1の所定値以上になると前記燃焼器が前記改質触媒層及び前記CO除去触媒層を加熱し、前記改質温度検知器の検知温度が結露発生抑制温度である第2の所定値以上になると前記水供給装置が前記水の供給を開始する、水素発生装置の起動方法。 - 前記水供給装置は、前記改質温度検知器の検知温度が前記第2の所定値以上、かつ、炭素析出抑制温度である第3の所定値以下である場合に、前記水の供給を開始する、請求項5に記載の水素発生装置の起動方法。
- 前記改質触媒にニッケルが含まれている、請求項5又は6に記載の水素発生装置の起動方法。
