Claims (14)
- 車体フレームと、該車体フレームに搭載されたエンジンと、該エンジンに接続された排気装置とを備えた自動二輪車であって、
上記排気装置は、上記エンジンの前壁に接続され、該エンジンの下方を通って後方に延びる複数の排気管と、該複数の排気管が集合する集合部と、該集合部に接続されたマフラとを備え、
上記複数の排気管は、車両前方から見たとき、上記エンジンの前壁から車幅方向一側でかつエンジン下方を通るよう後方に延びるとともに上記集合部に接続され、上記マフラは車幅方向他側に配置され、上記集合部に接続されており、上記集合部の上流部はオイルパンの下方、かつ車幅方向一側に位置し、下流部は他側に位置していることを特徴とする自動二輪車。 - 請求項1において、上記複数の排気管は車幅方向一側に向かって斜め下方に延びていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項1において、車両前方から見たとき、上記各排気管は、車幅方他側に向く凸状をなす曲げアール部を有することを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項3において、上記複数の排気管のうち、上記エンジンの前壁の他側部分に接続された排気管の上記曲げアール部の上記凸状の頂部は、一側部分に接続された排気管の上記曲げアール部の上記凸状の頂部より高所に位置していることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項3において、上記複数の排気管の上記曲げアール部の上流側における車幅方向断面の中心は、車両前方に拡がる形状をなしていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項5において、上記複数の排気管の上記曲げアール部の上流側における車幅方向断面の中心を結ぶ曲線は、車両後方に向く凸状をなしていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項3において、上記複数の排気管の上記曲げアール部の下流側における車幅方向断面の中心は、車両前方に狭まる形状をなしていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項7において、上記複数の排気管の上記曲げアール部の下流側における車幅方向断面の中心は、車両前方に向く凸状をなしていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項1において、上記複数の排気管は、後方に屈曲する後方屈曲部を有し、車両前方から見たとき、上記複数の排気管のうち、上記エンジンの前壁の車幅方向一側に接続された排気管の後方屈曲部は、上記エンジンの前壁の車幅方向他側に接続された排気管の後方屈曲部より高い位置に配置されていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項1において、上記集合部は、エンジンの底部に支持されていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項10において、上記エンジンの底部に配置されたオイルパンを有し、上記集合部は該オイルパンにより支持されていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項1において、上記集合部に第1の触媒が配置されていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項1において、上記マフラに第2の触媒が配置されていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
- 請求項1において、上記複数の排気管は、エンジンの前壁の一側部分に接続された第1の排気管群と、他側部分に接続された第2の排気管群とで構成され、上記集合部は、上記第1の排気管群を集合させる第1の集合部と、上記第2の排気管群を集合させる第2の集合部と、上記第1の集合部と第2の集合部とを集合させる第3の主集合部とで構成され、該第3の集合部に上記マフラが接続されていることを特徴とする自動二輪車。
