Description
(A)ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基を有する少なくとも1つのオルガノポリシロキサンであって、最大量で存在するオルガノポリシロキサンが、1分子あたりに末端ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基のみを有し、且つ25℃において少なくとも10Pa.sの粘度を有する、少なくとも1つのオルガノポリシロキサンと、
(B)1/1〜10/1である(A)中のアルケニル基の総量に対する(B)中のSi−H基のモル比を与えるのに十分な量の中に、少なくとも3個のケイ素結合水素原子を有する有機ケイ素架橋剤と、
(C)(A)の脂肪族不飽和炭化水素置換基と(B)のSi−H基との反応を促進するのに十分な量の貴金属触媒と、
(D)組成物全体の100重量部あたり15〜30重量部の充填剤と、
を含み、上記充填剤が、4.5以下のモース硬度及び3.0μm以下の平均粒径を有することを特徴とするオルガノポリシロキサン組成物を包含する。
該充填剤(D)が、4.5以下のモース硬度及び3.0μm以下の平均粒径を有することを特徴とするエアバッグを包含する。
A(i)1分子あたりに末端ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基のみを有し、且つ25℃において0.05〜0.65Pa.sの粘度を有する100重量部の第1のオルガノポリシロキサン材料と、
A(ii)1分子あたりに末端ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基のみを有し、且つ25℃において少なくとも10Pa.sの粘度を有する300〜700重量部の第2のオルガノポリシロキサン材料と、
A(iii)1分子あたり末端シロキサン単位及びポリマー鎖中の単位に脂肪族不飽和炭化水素置換基を有する50〜150重量部の第3のオルガノポリシロキサン材料と、
を含む。
−Si(R”)2−(D)d−R”’SiR”k(OR5)3−k
(式中、Dは−R”’−(Si(R”)2−O)r−Si(R”)2−であり、
R”は上記のとおり(好ましくは、メチル)であり、R”’は二価の炭化水素基であり、rは1〜6の自然数であり、dは0又は自然数であり、R5はアルキル又はオキシアルキル基(ここでアルキル基は、6個までの炭素原子を有する)であり、kは0、1又は2の値を有する)から選択することができる。好ましくは、R”’はメチレン基又はエチレン基のいずれかであり、kは0又は1であり、R5はメチル又はエチル基である。最も好ましくは、R”’はエチレン基であり、kは0であり、R5はエチル基である。
R3R4 2SiO(R4 2SiO)p(R3HSiO)qSiR4 2R3、又は
(E)(i)エポキシ及びアルコキシ官能性を有する有機ケイ素化合物、
(E)(ii)有機チタン又は有機ジルコニウム化合物、及び
(E)(iii)アルケニル官能性シラノール末端ポリオルガノシロキサン。
56.63重量部の、約55Pa.sの粘度を有するα,ω−ビニルジメチルシロキサン末端ブロック化ポリジメチルシロキサン(A2)と、
9.82部の、約0.45Pa.sの粘度を有するα,ω−ビニルジメチルシロキサン末端ブロック化ポリジメチルシロキサン(A1)と、
9.58部の、約0.35Pa.sの粘度を有するビニルジメチルシロキサン末端ブロック化ポリジメチル,ポリメチルビニルシロキサンコポリマー(A3)と、
0.3重量部の白金ベース触媒と、
0.2重量部のテトライソプロポキシチタネートと、
0.4重量部のヒドロキシ末端ジメチル,メチルビニルシロキサンと、
を含む様々な量の組成物を、2.7重量%のステアリン酸(Solvay SAにより供給されるSocal 312N)で処理された、0.07μmの平均粒径及び22m2/gのBET表面積を有する沈降炭酸カルシウムからなる様々な量の充填剤(D)と混合することによって、第1の組成物(I)を調製した。
14重量部の上記のジメチルビニルシロキシ末端ジメチル,メチルビニルシロキサン(A3)と、
51重量部の、トリメチルシロキサン末端ブロック化単位、1分子あたり少なくとも3個のケイ素結合水素原子、及び約0.004Pa.s.の粘度を有するメチルヒドロシロキサンジメチルシロキサンコポリマーと、
0.42重量部のエチニルシクロヘキサノールと、
8.6重量部のグリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランと、
を含有する第2の組成物(II)を調製した。
比較のために、炭酸カルシウム充填剤の代わりに、21%の処理済シリカ充填剤を含有する同様の配合物を同じ布に被覆した場合、引裂強さは125Nであり、エッジコーム耐性は665N/5cmであった。
21%の炭酸カルシウム充填剤を含有する実施例1の組成物を、ナイロン−6,6の布(織構造235/235Fd/dmの350dtex/144フィラメント糸)上に被覆し、実施例1に記載したとおりに硬化させた。引裂強さは241Nであり、エッジコーム耐性は470N/5cmであった。
平均粒径5.7μmを有する重質炭酸カルシウム(Omya UK LtdからのBLP3)で充填剤(D)を置き換えたことを相違点として、実施例4に記載したとおりに組成物を調製し、布上に被覆し、試験した。行なわれた物理試験の結果を以下の表1(b)に提供する。
3.0重量%のステアリン酸(Speciality Mineralsにより供給されるCalofort SM)で処理された、平均粒径0.07μm及びBET表面積22m2/gを有する別の沈降炭酸カルシウムで炭酸カルシウム充填剤(D)を置き換えたことを相違点として、実施例1(b)に記載したとおりに組成物を調製し、布上に被覆し、実施例1に記載したとおりに試験した。行なわれた物理試験の結果を、以下の表3に提供する。
平均粒径2.0μm及びモース硬度1〜2を有する市販の未処理のカオリン(Polestar200LD、Imerys Minerals Ltd)で炭酸カルシウム充填剤(D)を置き換えたことを相違点として、実施例1に記載したとおりに組成物を調製した。組成物を35〜40g/m2の被覆重量で、ナイロン−6,6の編織布(織構造207/182Fd/dmの470dtex/72フィラメント糸)上に被覆した。得られた被覆布を160℃の温度で1分間硬化させた。屈曲摩耗について被覆布を試験し、結果を以下の表4に提供する。
平均粒径0.7μm及びモース硬度1〜2を有する更なる市販の未処理のカオリン(Specwite、Imerys Minerals Ltdにより供給)でカオリン充填剤(D)を置き換えたことを相違点として、実施例4に記載したとおりに、組成物を調製し、布上に被覆し、試験した。行なわれた屈曲磨耗試験の結果を以下の表5に提供する。
21%の炭酸カルシウム充填剤に加えて少量の補強充填剤がコーティング組成物に添加されたことを相違点として、実施例1(b)を繰り返した。実施例6では、1%の分枝シリコーン樹脂を添加した。実施例7では、0.5%の処理済シリカを添加した。引裂強さ及びエッジコーム耐性について被覆布を試験し、結果を、以下の表6に示す。
Claims (10)
- (A)ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基を有する少なくとも1つのオルガノポリシロキサンであって、最大量で存在する該オルガノポリシロキサンが、1分子あたりに末端ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基のみを有し、且つ25℃において少なくとも10Pa.sの粘度を有する、少なくとも1つのオルガノポリシロキサンと、
(B)1/1〜10/1である(A)中のアルケニル基の総量に対する(B)中のSi−H基のモル比を与えるのに十分な量の中に、少なくとも3個のケイ素結合水素原子を有する有機ケイ素架橋剤と、
(C)(A)の脂肪族不飽和炭化水素置換基と(B)のSi−H基との反応を促進するのに十分な量の貴金属触媒と、
(D)組成物全体の100重量部あたり17〜25重量部の充填剤と、
を含む、編織布を被覆するための、エラストマーに硬化可能であるオルガノポリシロキサン組成物であって、
前記充填剤が、4.5以下のモース硬度及び3.0μm以下の平均粒径を有することを特徴とするオルガノポリシロキサン組成物。 - 前記成分(D)が、炭酸カルシウム、タルク、カオリン、三水酸化アルミニウム、水酸化マグネシウム、石膏、硫酸カルシウム、アルミナイト(alumnite)、炭酸マグネシウム、ケイ藻土、バライト、グラファイト、炭酸銅、炭酸ニッケル、炭酸バリウム、及び/又は炭酸ストロンチウムを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1つのオルガノポリシロキサン(A)が、
A(i)1分子あたりに末端ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基のみを有し、且つ25℃において0.05〜0.65Pa.sの粘度を有する第1のオルガノポリシロキサン材料と、
A(ii)1分子あたりに末端ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基のみを有し、且つ25℃において少なくとも10Pa.sの粘度を有する第2のオルガノポリシロキサン材料であって、成分A(ii)がA(i)又はA(iii)よりも多量に存在する第2のオルガノポリシロキサン材料と、
A(iii)1分子あたり末端シロキサン単位及びポリマー鎖中の単位に脂肪族不飽和炭化水素置換基を有する第3のオルガノポリシロキサン材料と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のオルガノポリシロキサン組成物。 - 前記少なくとも1つのオルガノポリシロキサン(A)が、
A(i)1分子あたりに末端ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基のみを有し、25℃において0.05〜0.65Pa.sの粘度を有する100重量部の第1のオルガノポリシロキサン材料と、
A(ii)1分子あたりに末端ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基のみを有し、25℃において少なくとも10Pa.sの粘度を有する300〜700重量部の第2のオルガノポリシロキサン材料と、
A(iii)1分子あたり末端シロキサン単位及びポリマー鎖中の単位に脂肪族不飽和炭化水素置換基を有する50〜150重量部の第3のオルガノポリシロキサン材料と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のオルガノポリシロキサン組成物。 - 前記組成物が、接着促進添加剤(E)を更に含有することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のオルガノポリシロキサン組成物であって、該接着促進添加剤(E)が、
(i)組成物全体の0.1〜2重量%の、エポキシ及びアルコキシ官能性を有する有機ケイ素化合物と、
(ii)E(i)100重量部あたり10〜100重量部の有機チタン化合物と、
(iii)E(i)100重量部あたり50〜100重量部のアルケニル官能性シラノール末端ポリオルガノシロキサンと、
(E)(iv)金属キレートと
を含む組成物。 - オルガノポリシロキサン組成物層で編織布を被覆することと、前記層を硬化させて前記布上にエラストマーコーティングを形成することと、前記被覆布を成形して膨張式拘束装置を形成することを含む、膨張式拘束装置、航空機の緊急シュート又は熱気球の製造プロセスであって、
前記オルガノポリシロキサン組成物が、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項によることを特徴とする、製造プロセス。 - 前記膨張式拘束装置が自動車用エアバックである、請求項7に記載の製造プロセス。
- 請求項1〜6に記載のオルガノポリシロキサン組成物が、25g/m2より多く180g/m2までの量で被覆された編織布を含むエアバッグであって、
該組成物中のオルガノポリシロキサン(A)が、末端ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基を有し、かつ炭化水素オキシ置換基、ヒドロキシル基又は加水分解性基から選択される反応基を有するオルガノポリシロキサンを含み、
該組成物中の充填剤(D)が、4.5以下のモース硬度及び3.0μm以下の平均粒径を有すること
を特徴とするエアバッグ。 - 膨張式拘束装置のための編織布を被覆するための、請求項1〜6に記載のオルガノポリシロキサン組成物の使用であって、
該組成物中のオルガノポリシロキサン(A)が、末端ケイ素結合脂肪族不飽和炭化水素基を有し、かつ炭化水素オキシ置換基、ヒドロキシル基又は加水分解性基から選択される反応基を有するオルガノポリシロキサンを含み、
該組成物中の充填剤(D)が、4.5以下のモース硬度及び3.0μm以下の平均粒径を有すること
を特徴とするオルガノポリシロキサン組成物の使用。
