Claims (1)
- 内燃機関から排気系に排出された排ガスを浄化する内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置であって、
前記排気系に設けられ、排ガスを浄化するための触媒と、
前記排気系の前記触媒よりも下流側に設けられ、酸化雰囲気下で排ガス中のNOxを捕捉するとともに、還元雰囲気下で当該捕捉したNOxを還元することによって浄化するNOx触媒と、
前記排気系の前記触媒と前記NOx触媒の間に配置され、空燃比を検出する空燃比センサと、
前記触媒の上流側に還元剤を供給し、前記NOx触媒に流入する排ガスを、還元雰囲気に制御することにより、前記NOx触媒にNOxの還元動作を行わせるNOx還元制御手段と、
当該NOx還元制御手段による還元制御の終了時期を決定するために、前記NOx触媒において浄化されたNOx量を表すNOx浄化量パラメータを算出するNOx浄化量パラメータ算出手段と、
前記内燃機関から排出された排ガスの流量を算出する排ガス流量算出手段と、
当該算出された排ガスの流量に基づいて、前記検出された空燃比が所定の目標空燃比付近に収束している間に前記NOx触媒に流入した排ガスの総量を、排ガス総流入量として算出する排ガス総流入量算出手段と、
前記NOx浄化量パラメータ算出手段によるNOx浄化量パラメータの算出を、前記空燃比が前記目標空燃比付近に収束した後、前記算出された排ガス総流入量が所定の判定値以上になったときに開始させる算出開始手段と、
を備えていることを特徴とする内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置。
