Claims (3)
- 外部から供給される電源電圧よりも低い耐圧を持つ集積回路へ電源を供給する集積回路用電源保護回路において、
上記集積回路内に集積化されて配置され、上記集積回路の電源端子に印加される電圧を分割する電圧分割手段と、上記集積回路の電源端子から電源供給され、上記電圧分割手段の出力と基準電圧との差分を増幅する誤差増幅器とを有する誤差増幅回路と、
上記集積回路外に配置され、上記誤差増幅器の出力に応じてベース電圧が制御され、外部電源からの電圧を調整して上記集積回路の電源電圧を供給するNPN型の電圧制御用トランジスタと、
上記NPN型の電圧制御用トランジスタのコレクタとベースとの間に接続される起動用抵抗と、
上記誤差増幅器の出力端子に印加される電圧を上記集積回路の耐圧以下に制限する出力端子保護電圧制限手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする集積回路用電源保護回路。 - 請求項1記載の集積回路用電源保護回路において、
上記出力端子保護電圧制限手段は、複数の抵抗素子であることを特徴とする集積回路用電源保護回路。 - 請求項1記載の集積回路用電源保護回路において、
上記出力端子保護電圧制限手段は、ツェナーダイオードであることを特徴とする集積回路用電源保護回路。
