Description
前記弾性部材および前記接触部材のうち少なくとも一方は、5重量%から40重量%の酸化ジルコニウムを含有した酸化アルミニウムセラミックスにより形成されており、
前記弾性部材および前記接触部材のうち少なくとも一方の部材の表面は、算術平均粗さ(Ra)が0.2μm以下の研磨面を備え、
前記研磨面における酸化ジルコニウム粒子と酸化アルミニウム粒子との高低差が0.2μm以下であることを特徴とする。
また、本発明は、電気−機械エネルギ変換素子により振動が励起される弾性部材と、該弾性部材上に設けられた摩擦部材に接触する接触部材又は前記弾性部材に接触する摩擦部材が設けられた接触部材とを相対駆動する振動型駆動装置であって、
前記摩擦部材は、5重量%から40重量%の酸化ジルコニウムを含有した酸化アルミニウムセラミックスにより形成されており、
前記摩擦部材の表面は、算術平均粗さ(Ra)が0.2μm以下の研磨面を備え、
前記研磨面における酸化ジルコニウム粒子と酸化アルミニウム粒子との高低差が0.2μm以下であることを特徴とする。
これらの研磨面における酸化ジルコニウム粒子と酸化アルミニウム粒子との高低差が0.2μm以下である構成とすることで、弾性部材や接触部材の機械的強度や靭性を向上させることができ、振動型駆動装置の駆動に伴う摩耗を抑制することができる。
一方、5重量%から40重量%までの範囲内で酸化ジルコニウムを酸化アルミニウムに添加した場合には、図3で説明したように摩耗量を抑えることができるため、酸化ジルコニウムによって酸化アルミニウムの結晶粒子が抜け落ちるのを抑えていると考えられる。

Claims (5)
- 電気−機械エネルギ変換素子により振動が励起される弾性部材と該弾性部材に接触する接触部材とを相対駆動する振動型駆動装置であって、
前記弾性部材および前記接触部材のうち少なくとも一方は、5重量%から40重量%の酸化ジルコニウムを含有した酸化アルミニウムセラミックスにより形成されており、
前記弾性部材および前記接触部材のうち少なくとも一方の部材の表面は、算術平均粗さ(Ra)が0.2μm以下の研磨面を備え、
前記研磨面における酸化ジルコニウム粒子と酸化アルミニウム粒子との高低差が0.2μm以下であることを特徴とする振動型駆動装置。 - 電気−機械エネルギ変換素子により振動が励起される弾性部材と、該弾性部材上に設けられた摩擦部材に接触する接触部材又は前記弾性部材に接触する摩擦部材が設けられた接触部材とを相対駆動する振動型駆動装置であって、
前記摩擦部材は、5重量%から40重量%の酸化ジルコニウムを含有した酸化アルミニウムセラミックスにより形成されており、
前記摩擦部材の表面は、算術平均粗さ(Ra)が0.2μm以下の研磨面を備え、
前記研磨面における酸化ジルコニウム粒子と酸化アルミニウム粒子との高低差が0.2μm以下であることを特徴とする振動型駆動装置。 - 前記酸化アルミニウムセラミックスは、10重量%から30重量%の酸化ジルコニウムを含有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の振動型駆動装置。
- 前記酸化アルミニウムセラミックスは、酸化イットリウム、酸化カルシウムおよび酸化マグネシウムのうち少なくとも1つを、0.1重量%から2重量%含有することを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の振動型駆動装置。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の振動型駆動装置と、
該振動型駆動装置により駆動される被駆動部材とを有することを特徴とする作動装置。
