Description
第1制限値を一定とする制限制御では、コイルの温度を下げるための制限値の選択が容易である。さらに、制限制御の間は、一定の制限値による制限制御が継続されるため、制限制御の間に制限値を徐々に増加させるのに比べて、コイルの温度上昇を確実に抑制することができる。
第1制限値を増大してゆく制限制御では、冷媒の流れが速くなってゆくので、コイルの温度を早く下げることができる。また、制限値を制限制御の間一定とするのに比べて、電動圧縮機の効率を向上させることができる。
スクロール型電動圧縮機10を構成する可動スクロール11は、電動機Mを構成する回転軸12の回転によって旋回し、圧縮動作体としての可動スクロール11と固定スクロール13との間の圧縮室14が容積減少する。圧縮室14内の冷媒は、吐出ポート15から吐出弁16を押し退けて吐出室17へ吐出される。
(1−1)スクロール型電動圧縮機10の起動前(電動機Mの起動前)のコイル252の周囲温度(検出温度Θx)が基準温度Θoに達している場合には、コイル252に供給される電流の上限値は、最大の上限値Imaxよりも小さい制限値Ao×Imaxに制限される。従って、起動時においてスクロール型電動圧縮機10の運転がすぐに停止されることはない。しかも、Aoの値を適宜に選択することにより、冷媒の循環がコイル252の周辺にまで行き届くまでの間におけるコイル252の温度上昇がコイル252への供給電流を制限値Ao×Imax以下に制限することによって抑制される。冷媒の循環がコイル252の周辺にまで行き届くと、モータハウジング18内を流れる冷媒によってコイル252の温度が下げられる。その結果、コイル252の温度が高くなり過ぎることはない。
(1)図5に線E3で示すように、係数Aを制限制御の開始時から徐々に増大してゆき、最終的にA=1となるようにしてもよい。上限値A×Imax(制限値)を制限制御の開始時から予め設定された基準時間T1(<To)の経過時点まで増大してゆく制御では、冷媒の流れが速くなってゆくので、コイル252の温度を早く下げることができる。また、係数Aを一定とするのに比べて、電動圧縮機の効率を向上させることができる。
(3)図6に曲線E4で示すように、制限制御の開始時から予め設定された基準時間の経過時点までの一部でのみ制限値を増大してゆくようにしてもよい。
(6)本発明をピストン式電動圧縮機に適用してもよい。
(7)本発明を可変容量型電動圧縮機に適用してもよい。
Claims (6)
- 電動機によって駆動される回転軸の回転に基づく圧縮動作体の圧縮動作によって圧縮室内の冷媒を圧縮して吐出し、前記電動機のコイルを前記冷媒によって冷却する電動圧縮機における電動機制御装置において、
前記電動機のコイルの温度又はコイルの周囲の温度を検出する温度検出手段と、
前記電動機の起動前に前記温度検出手段によって検出された温度が予め設定された第1基準温度に達している場合には、前記コイルに供給される電流の上限値を最大の上限値よりも小さい第1制限値に制限して前記電動機の運転を継続する制限制御を行なう制限手段と
を備え、前記制限手段は、前記第1制限値に制限する前記制限制御の開始時から予め設定された基準時間の経過後に前記制限を解除し、前記制限の解除後、前記温度検出手段によって検出された温度が予め設定された第2基準温度に達している場合には、前記コイルに供給される電流の上限値を最大の上限値よりも小さい第2制限値に制限して前記電動機の運転を継続する制限制御を行う電動圧縮機における電動機制御装置。 - 前記第1制限値は、制限制御が行われている間は一定値に保たれる請求項1に記載の電動圧縮機における電動機制御装置。
- 前記第1制限値は、前記制限制御の開始時から予め設定された所定時間の経過時点までの少なくとも一部で増大してゆく請求項1に記載の電動圧縮機における電動機制御装置。
- 前記電動圧縮機は、前記電動機に電流を供給するインバータと、前記インバータの温度を検出する温度検出手段とを備え、前記インバータの温度を検出する温度検出手段は、前記コイルの周囲の温度を検出する温度検出手段を兼ねる請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の電動圧縮機における電動機制御装置。
- 前記第1制限値は、前記第2制限値よりも小さい値に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の電動圧縮機における電動機制御装置。
- 前記第2基準温度は、前記第1基準温度よりも小さい値に設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の電動圧縮機における電動機制御装置。
