Description
(1) 乾留処理後の被乾留物を排出するために底蓋を開くと外気が炉内に侵入し、炉内の酸素濃度が上昇する。ところが、連続処理において、一度乾留処理を終えた乾留槽は高温になっているため、そのままで再び被乾留物を炉内に投入すると、乾留槽からの熱を受けて被乾留物の温度が上昇し、含まれる高分子化合物が分解して燃焼や爆発を引き起こす危険性がある。そこで、被乾留物を投入する前に炉内の酸素濃度が所定値に低下するまで不活性ガス置換しているが、これに要する時間によって連続処理の効率が低下している。
(2) 乾留処理が終了した被乾留物は、炉外の排出トレイに取り出す際、高温のまま外気に触れてしまうため、飲料缶などの金属系の被乾留物は金属が酸化し、後工程での金属の回収率及び純度が低下する。なお、引用文献2に記載された発明においては、加熱分解炉内で乾留処理した後の被乾留物(炭素素材)を閉鎖密閉構造の冷却部に搬入して冷却しているが、加熱分解炉からの搬出時に被乾留物が高温のまま外気に触れてしまう点では変わりはない。
前記炉本体の下部に密閉構造の排出室を気密に接続するとともに、この排出室内を不活性ガスで置換する手段および、前記炉本体内で乾溜処理された前記被乾溜物を、前記不活性ガスで置換する手段により室内が不活性ガスで置換されて不活性ガス雰囲気にされた前記排出室内に炉本体の底蓋を開いて排出する手段を設けたものである(請求項1)。

Claims (2)
- 不活性ガス雰囲気を形成する炉本体内に被乾留物を収容する乾留槽が設置され、前記炉本体の外側に設置された加熱コイルで前記乾留槽を誘導加熱することにより、この乾留槽内の前記被乾留物を乾留処理するとともに、乾留処理後の前記被乾留物を前記炉本体の下部に排出する誘導加熱式乾留炉において、
前記炉本体の下部に密閉構造の排出室を気密に接続するとともに、この排出室内を不活性ガスで置換する手段および、前記炉本体内で乾溜処理された前記被乾溜物を、前記不活性ガスで置換する手段により室内が不活性ガスで置換されて不活性ガス雰囲気にされた前記排出室内に炉本体の底蓋を開いて排出する手段を設けたことを特徴とする誘導加熱式乾留炉。 - 前記炉本体から排出されるガスを処理する排ガス処理設備に、前記排出室の不活性ガスで置換時にこの排出室から排出されるガスを送る手段を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の誘導加熱式乾留炉。
