Description
また、ピンコンタクト素線6から単位長さのピンコンタクト1を切り出す場合には、少なくとも3工程が必要であり、生産工数が多く、生産性が低いという問題点がある。
本実施形態によれば、環状のテーパ面を有する端子が得られ、圧入作業がより一層容易になる。
本実施形態によれば、2本の端子を同時に得られるので、生産の高い端子の製造方法が得られるという効果がある。
第1実施形態は、図1に示すように、断面方形の線状導電材11の所定の位置に一対の成形ダイス20,20を突き合わせることにより、稜線12毎にテーパ面14を不連続に設けたコイル端子10を切り出す場合である。
また、切断用凹部13を設けてあるので、切断位置が少しずれたとしても、コイル端子10の先端面15の形状が大きく変化することがなく、圧入作業に悪影響がないという利点がある。

Claims (4)
- 断面方形の線状導電材の稜線端部に連続する円錐台状テーパ面を設けるとともに、前記円錐台状テーパ面の先端面に連続する柱状突部を設けたことを特徴とする端子。
- 一対の成形ダイスの突き合わせ面と断面方形の線状導電材の側面とを平行に配置し、前記突き合わせ面に設けた第1プレス面で前記線状導電材の稜線上に切断用凹部を形成するとともに、前記第1プレス面の両側縁部を切削して形成した2つの第2プレス面で前記切断用凹部に連続するテーパ面を形成した後、前記切断用凹部の中間を切断することにより、切断した端部に柱状突部を有する単位長さの端子を切り出すことを特徴とする端子の製造方法。
- 一対の成形ダイスの突き合わせ面と断面方形の線状導電材の側面とを平行に配置し、前記突き合わせ面にそれぞれ設けた半円形の第1プレス面で前記線状導電材の稜線上に環状の切断用凹部を形成するとともに、前記第1プレス面の両側縁部に沿ってそれぞれ設けた2つの第2プレス面で、前記切断用凹部に連続する環状のテーパ面を形成した後、前記切断用凹部の中間を切断することにより、切断した端部に柱状突部を有する単位長さの端子を切り出すことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の端子の製造方法。
- 単位長さ2本分の長さを有する断面方形の線状導電材の中央部分に一対の成形ダイスを突き合わせて切断用凹部を形成するとともに、前記切断用凹部に連続するテーパ面を形成した後、前記切断用凹部を切断して単位長さの端子を切り出すことを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の端子の製造方法。
