Claims (2)
- シリンダと、このシリンダに対して軸方向に相対移動自在に配されているロッドと、ロッドの外周面に形成された一つの凹所と、軸方向において凹所を間にして配されており且つ夫々が外周面ではシリンダの内周面に固着されていると共に内周面ではロッドの外周面に固着された一対の弾性変形自在部材と、一対の弾性変形自在部材間であってシリンダ及びロッド間の空間に充填された塑性体、粘性体又は粘弾性体とを具備しており、ロッドは、一対の弾性変形自在部材の軸方向の弾性剪断変形によりシリンダに対する軸方向の相対的移動が許容される一方、一対の弾性変形自在部材の軸方向に直交する方向の弾性伸縮変形によりシリンダに対する軸方向に直交する方向の相対的移動が許容されるように、一対の弾性変形自在部材を介してシリンダに支持されており、凹所はロッドを取り巻く方向に環状に伸びていると共にロッドの移動自在方向に直交する垂直側壁によって規定されており、少なくとも一方の弾性変形自在部材は、天然ゴム製の単一の円筒状の弾性部材と、この弾性部材の軸方向における環状の端面と塑性体、粘性体又は粘弾性体との間に介在されていると共に弾性部材の弾性率よりも大きな弾性率を有した環状の弾性板とを具備しており、弾性部材及び環状の弾性板は、夫々の外周面でシリンダの内周面に加硫接着により直接に固着されていると共に夫々の内周面でロッドの外周面に加硫接着により直接に固着されているエネルギ吸収装置。
- 塑性体は鉛からなる請求項1に記載のエネルギ吸収装置。
