Claims (8)
- 複数の信号線を用いて表示を行う表示装置であって、
信号線に断線が生じたときの修正用として、各信号線と接続可能に形成された複数の予備配線を備え、該各予備配線に、切断用の複数の括れ部が間隔をおいて設けられているとともに、
所定本数の信号線ごとにこれら信号線と交差する中継配線を備え、各中継配線が上記複数の予備配線と交差していることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 少なくとも1本の予備配線が断線した信号線と接続されるとともにその接続部近傍に形成された括れ部で切断されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 上記中継配線の少なくとも1つが1本の信号線および1本の予備配線に接続されるとともに、この予備配線が中継配線との接続部近傍に形成された括れ部で切断されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 1以上の所定数の中継配線を1組として、各予備配線は、中継配線の各組に挟まれる部分に括れ部を有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 複数のデータ信号線が形成された表示部を備えた表示装置であって、
上記表示部の周囲に、データ信号線に断線が生じたときの修正用として、複数の予備配線を有し、各予備配線には、表示部のデータ入力側のエッジと反対側のエッジに沿った部分に、複数の括れ部が間隔をおいて形成されているとともに、
隣り合う2つの括れ部の間を通過し、データ信号線の端部に向かうような中継配線が設けられていることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 少なくとも1つの予備配線が中継配線にメルト接続されているとともに信号入力側からみてメルト接続された箇所以降にある直近の括れ部で切断され、かつ該中継配線が断線のあるデータ信号線にメルト接続されていることを特徴とする請求項5記載の表示装置。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置を備えることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
- 表示領域を通る複数の信号線を用いて表示を行う表示装置を製造するための、表示装置の製造方法であって、
信号線に断線が生じたときの修正用として、各信号線と中継配線を介して接続可能な複数の予備配線を形成するとともに、該各予備配線における上記中継配線との接続可能箇所以降の部分に切断用の複数の括れ部を間隔をおいて形成しておく工程と、
断線した信号線があるかないかをチェックする工程と、
断線した信号線があれば、この断線した信号線と予備配線とを上記中継配線を介して接続するとともに該予備配線をその接続部近傍に形成された括れ部で切断する工程と、を含むことを特徴とする表示装置の製造方法。
