Description
Claims (2)
- 熱アシスト磁気ヘッドにおいて、
媒体対向面上で離隔して配置された第1及び第2の近接場光発生部と、
前記第1及び第2の近接場光発生部の間に少なくとも一部分が位置する主磁極と、
前記第1の近接場光発生部と前記第2の近接場光発生部との間の領域に、エネルギー線を照射する発光素子と、
前記第1及び第2の近接場光発生部が先端面に設けられるコアと、
前記コアの周囲に設けられたクラッドと、
を備え、
前記主磁極は、前記コアに最深部が位置する溝内に設けられ、
前記溝の両側面に隣接して前記第1及び第2の近接場光発生部がそれぞれ位置する、
ことを特徴とする熱アシスト磁気ヘッド。 - 前記主磁極内に磁束を通すための情報書き込み用コイルを更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱アシスト磁気ヘッド。
