Description
以下、本発明の変形例に係る制御装置について説明する。本変形例に係る制御装置は前述の実施の形態と異なるプログラムを実行する。その他のハードウェア構成(図1,図2)は同じである。したがって、それらについての詳細な説明は繰返さない。
Claims (4)
- 筒内に燃料を噴射するための燃料噴射手段を有する内燃機関の高圧燃料系統の制御装置であって、高圧燃料系統は、内燃機関により駆動される吐出能力の異なる2つの高圧燃料ポンプを含み、
前記2つの高圧燃料ポンプから前記燃料噴射手段へ吐出されるべき燃料の要求量の合計を示す合計要求吐出量を検知するための検知手段と、
前記2つの中の一方の高圧燃料ポンプからの燃料供給が停止可能であるか否かに基づいて前記合計要求吐出量を前記2つの高圧燃料ポンプの少なくともいずれかの高圧燃料ポンプに分配して前記2つの高圧燃料ポンプの吐出量の分担を決定するための吐出量分担決定手段と、
前記吐出量分担決定手段による決定結果に基づいて前記2つの高圧燃料ポンプの作動を制御するための作動手段とを含み、
前記吐出量分担決定手段は、前記一方の高圧燃料ポンプからの燃料供給が停止可能でない場合、前記合計要求吐出量が前記2つの高圧燃料ポンプのうち吐出能力が低い第1ポンプの最大吐出量を超えているか否かを判断し、前記合計要求吐出量が前記しきい値を超えていないときには、前記合計要求吐出量を前記2つの高圧燃料ポンプに均等に分配し、前記合計要求吐出量が前記しきい値を超えているときには、前記合計要求吐出量のうち前記第1ポンプの最大吐出量を前記第1ポンプに分配するとともに前記合計要求吐出量と前記第1ポンプの最大吐出量との差分を前記2つの高圧燃料ポンプのうち吐出能力が高い第2ポンプに分配する、内燃機関の高圧燃料系統の制御装置。 - 前記吐出量分担決定手段は、前記一方の高圧燃料ポンプからの燃料供給が停止可能である場合、前記合計要求吐出量を前記一方の高圧燃料ポンプに分配せずに前記一方の高圧燃料ポンプとは異なる高圧燃料ポンプに分配する、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の高圧燃料系統の制御装置。
- 前記作動手段は、前記2つの前記高圧燃料ポンプの1台ずつに対して、予め定められた駆動デューティを用いて、作動させ、
前記制御装置は、前記作動に伴う燃料圧力の変化に基づいて、故障ポンプであるか否かを判定するための判定手段をさらに含む、請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の高圧燃料系統の制御装置。 - 前記判定手段は、前記燃料圧力の昇圧度合いに基づいて、故障ポンプであるか否かを判定するための手段を含む、請求項3に記載の内燃機関の高圧燃料系統の制御装置。
