Description
・一つのレーザ光源、例えば、複数のエミッタ(放射源)を一定方向に配列させた半導体レーザアレイ等を用いてエミッタ数に応じた本数のレーザビームを出力する形態。
(B)光出力の調整
(C)(A)と(B)との併用
(II)光学系3に対してレーザビームの入射位置を調整する構成形態
(III)光源部2と光学系3との間に配置される光学素子を調整する構成形態
(IV)上記(I)乃至(III)の2以上を組み合せた構成形態
(2)個々のレーザのプロファイル波形について検出するとともに、検出データに基づいて各レーザの出力を制御して、プロファイルの均一化を図るようにした構成形態
(3)表示デバイスからの透過光又は反射光を投射光学系に出力する構成において、プロファイルの検出装置を投射光学系の後段に設置して各レーザの出力制御を行うことにより、投射光学系の周辺光量比をも考慮したプロファイル形状の制御を行う形態。
(ロ)レーザパワーを変化させていったときのプロファイルデータを取得して、メモリ等に記憶させる
(ハ)別のレーザ光源を対象として(イ)及び(ロ)を繰り返す
(ニ)全レーザ光源を最大出力で作動させて、合成プロファイルに係る強度測定を行う
(ホ)個々のレーザ光源のパワーを変化させた場合に得られる合成プロファイルを測定しながら各レーザ光源のパワーを個別に制御する
(へ)合成プロファイルの均一性が許容範囲内となるまで(ホ)を繰り返す。
1)各レーザを単体で点灯したとき、プロファイルのどの位置に寄与するかを記録しておく
2)プロファイルの谷部分に寄与するレーザの出力を電流―出力換算値に基づいて上げる
3)プロファイルの山部分に寄与するレーザの出力を電流―出力換算値に基づいて下げる
4)プロファイルの「最大値−最小値」の幅がある一定値内に入るまで上記2)及び3)の作業を繰り返す。
以上のプロセスに従ってそれぞれの出力を決めていくことができる。
・画像投射を行いつつ、画像表示に悪影響を与えないように測定用画像を投射光学系22から出力し、光検出装置23で検出する形態。
Claims (2)
- レーザ光源を含む光源部と、複数のレーザビームが入射される光学系と、該光学系に係る結像面上の光強度分布について検出するための検出手段とを備えた照明装置において、
上記検出手段で検出された光強度分布に基づいて上記結像面上での光強度分布を変化させて均一化させるための調整手段を設け、
上記調整手段は、
上記レーザ光源と上記光学系との間に配置される光学素子の位置を光軸上に沿って変更するとともに、
上記光強度分布データの変動が検出された場合に、予め記憶装置に保持されたレーザ光源ごとの駆動電流及び光出力の関係を示す特性データを読み出し、該読み出された特性データに基づいて、検出された光強度分布の最小値に揃えるようにレーザ光源ごとに光出力を制御する
ことを特徴とする照明装置。 - レーザ光源を含む光源部と、複数のレーザビームが入射される光学系と、該光学系からの光の変調に用いる光変調素子と、該光変調素子への照明光又は光変調素子を経た後の投射光の光強度分布について検出するための検出手段とを備え、該光変調素子を用いた光変調により画像を生成する画像生成装置において、
上記検出手段で検出された光強度分布に基づいて上記結像面上での光強度分布を変化させて均一化させるための調整手段を設け、
上記調整手段は、
上記レーザ光源と上記光学系との間に配置される光学素子の位置を光軸上に沿って変更するとともに、
上記光強度分布データの変動が検出された場合に、予め記憶装置に保持されたレーザ光源ごとの駆動電流及び光出力の関係を示す特性データを読み出し、該読み出された特性データに基づいて、検出された光強度分布の最小値に揃えるようにレーザ光源ごとに光出力を制御する
ことを特徴とする画像生成装置。
