Description
このようにランタノイド(III)錯体は特に優れた発光特性を示すため、ランタノイド(III)錯体のうち、更にレーザー発振条件を備えた錯体を用いれば、ポリマーファイバーレーザーや液体レーザー、プラスチック薄膜レーザー等を作製することも可能であると考えられる。実際、過去にランタノイド(III)錯体を用いてレーザー発振が試みられている(非特許文献2参照)。
[発光速度]=[発光量子収率]/[発光寿命]
で表されるが、錯体の構造を非対称とするとf-f遷移が許容遷移となり発光速度が大きくなる。従って、錯体構造を非対称構造にすることにより発光量子収率を高めることができる。ここで非対称型構造とは、錯体全体の構造が非対称形をとるように配位子を選択した錯体構造をいう。
* 直鎖又は分枝を有するアルキル基(CnH2n+1:n=1〜20)、及びパーフルオロアルキル基(CnF2n+1:n=1〜20)、パークロロアルキル基(CnCl2n+1:n=1〜20)などの直鎖又は分枝を有するパーハロゲン化アルキル基;
なお、このマトリックスとして感光性を有する樹脂を用いた場合は、フォトリソグラフィーにより薄膜へ直接パターニングすることが可能であって、パターン形成の工程を減らすことができる。
Claims (7)
- 一般式(1)のLn3+が、Eu3+,Tb3+,Yb3+,Nd3+,Er3+,Sm3+,Dy3+,Ce3+のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光性希土類錯体。
- 基板上に載置された、請求項1又は2に記載の発光性希土類錯体を透明マトリックス中に導入した薄膜から成るレーザー発振部と、
該レーザー発振部に対して励起光を照射する照射手段と、
を備えることを特徴とするレーザー発振装置。 - 上記透明マトリックスが、透明樹脂又は透明無機材料又は透明有機−無機ハイブリッド材料のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のレーザー発振装置。
- 上記透明樹脂が、ポリイミド、ポリアミド、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリアクリレート、ポリエステル、ポリウレタン、ポリカーボネート、エポキシ樹脂、ポリスチレン、シロキサンポリマー、これらのハロゲン化物もしくは重水素化物、又はこれらを二以上混合した樹脂のいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のレーザー発振装置。
- 請求項1に記載の発光性希土類錯体を混入させた、樹脂又は透明無機材料又は透明有機−無機ハイブリッド材料のいずれかから成ることを特徴とする光機能材料。
- 請求項1に記載の発光性希土類錯体を含有する成形体と、励起光源とを備えることを特徴とする発光装置。
