Description
同図において、組電池101は、ボックス102の中に収容されており、このボックス102の中には冷却液が充填されている。ボックス102には、ボックス102内に冷却液を流入させるとともに、このボックス102内に流入した冷却液を流出させる循環路103が設けられている。
また、冷却ガス52は冷却液51内において比重差により自然に浮上するため、冷却ガス52を冷却液51内に送り込む循環ポンプ(循環手段)23の圧力を低く設定することができる。これにより、循環ポンプ23を小型化することができる。
次に、組電池1を冷却する際の電池システム4の冷却動作について説明する。
(変形例)
冷却ガス52に変えて冷却液51よりも比重の軽い冷却液(例えば、ATフルード、シリコンオイル)を使用することができる。

Claims (6)
- 収納ボックスに電源装置を収納した電源システムにおいて、
前記収納ボックスには前記電源装置と熱交換を行う第1の熱交換流体が収容されており、該第1の熱交換流体よりも比重の軽い第2の熱交換流体を前記第1の熱交換流体中に導入させ、比重差により前記第1の熱交換流体内から分離した前記第2の熱交換流体を前記第1の熱交換流体内に戻す循環路を有することを特徴とする電源システム。 - 前記第1の熱交換流体は液体であり、前記第2の熱交換流体は液体または気体であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電源システム。
- 前記循環路には、前記第2の熱交換流体を強制循環させる循環ポンプが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の電源システム。
- 前記循環路を介して前記第1の熱交換流体内に導入される前記第2の熱交換流体を冷却する冷却手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一つに記載の電源システム。
- 前記循環路を介して前記第1の熱交換流体内に導入される前記第2の熱交換流体を加熱する加熱手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一つに記載の電源システム。
- 前記第2の熱交換流体は、ATフルード又はシリコンオイルであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のうちいずれか一つに記載の電源システム。
