Claims (5)
- 燃料タンクから燃料フィードポンプで汲み上げた燃料を加圧して蓄圧室に蓄え、前記蓄圧室に蓄えられた燃料を燃料噴射弁から噴射する内燃機関の燃料供給装置において、
前記蓄圧室と前記燃料タンクとを接続するリターン通路と、前記リターン通路に設けられ、前記蓄圧室と前記燃料タンクとを連通させる連通位置と前記蓄圧室と前記燃料タンクとの連通を遮断する遮断位置とに切り替え可能な制御弁と、前記内燃機関を停止させる所定の停止条件が成立した場合に前記制御弁を前記連通位置に切り替えて前記燃料フィードポンプを動作させる動作制御手段と、を備え、
前記動作制御手段は、前記所定の停止条件が成立した場合、まず前記制御弁を前記連通位置に切り替えて前記燃料フィードポンプを動作させ、その後前記制御弁を前記遮断位置に切り替えて前記燃料フィードポンプを動作させることを特徴とする内燃機関の燃料供給装置。 - 前記制御弁を前記連通位置に切り替えて前記燃料フィードポンプを動作させるときの前記燃料フィードポンプの吐出圧が、前記制御弁を前記遮断位置に切り替えて前記燃料フィードポンプを動作させるときの前記燃料フィードポンプの吐出圧よりも高くなるように前記燃料フィードポンプの吐出圧を変更する吐出圧変更手段をさらに備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
- 前記蓄圧室内の圧力を取得する圧力取得手段をさらに備え、
前記動作制御手段は、前記所定の停止条件が成立した場合、前記圧力取得手段により取得された圧力に基づいて前記制御弁の動作を制御することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置。 - 前記動作制御手段は、前記所定の停止条件が成立し、かつ前記圧力取得手段により取得された圧力が前記内燃機関の始動性を考慮して設定された所定の判定圧力よりも高い場合に前記制御弁を前記連通位置に切り替え、前記圧力取得手段により取得された圧力が前記所定の判定圧力以下の場合に前記制御弁を前記遮断位置に切り替えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
- 前記動作制御手段は、前記内燃機関を始動させる所定の始動条件が成立した場合、前記所定の始動条件が成立してから前記燃料噴射弁からの燃料の噴射が行われるまでの間に前記制御弁を前記連通位置に切り替えるとともに前記燃料フィードポンプを動作させる燃料循環期間を設けることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
