Claims (15)
- 耐クリープ合金から形成される管状部材を含む遠心鋳造管であって、
前記管状部材は外部表面および内部表面を有し、
前記内部表面は複数の突起部および複数の溝を有し、
前記複数の突起部および前記複数の溝の表面が、切削工具によって機械加工され、かつ浸炭およびメタルダスティングに対し耐性を持ち、かつ該内部表面の表面粗さおよび寸法精度が、電解加工によりも優れた125RMS(CLA)より小さい表面粗さを有することを特徴とする、
遠心鋳造管。 - 前記複数の突起部および前記溝は複数の交わる凹面半径および凸面半径により画定されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の管。
- 前記複数の突起部および溝はブローチ加工により形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の管。
- 前記複数の突起部および溝が、結果として形成される外形全体を包囲する最小の円の円周よりも少なくとも5%長い外形を形成することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の管。
- 遠心鋳造管を製造する方法であって、
複数の第一切削インサートを有する第一切削工具を前記管の穿孔に通過させることにより前記穿孔からの第一の物質量を機械的に取り除き、複数の溝および突起部の形成を開始すること、
複数の第二切削インサートを有する第二切削工具を前記穿孔に通過させ、前記複数の第二切削インサートは前記複数の第一切削インサートの対応する寸法と異なる寸法を有し、よって前記穿孔からの第二の物質量を機械的に取り除き、前記複数の溝および突起部の形成を継続すること、および、
複数の付加の切削インサートを有する付加の切削工具を前記穿孔に継続して通過させ、前記付加の切削工具のそれぞれの組は直前の通過で使用された前記切削インサートの対応する寸法と異なる寸法を有し、よって溝および突起部の所望の外形を達成するまで前記穿孔からの付加の物質量を機械的に取り除くこと、を含み、
前記複数の突起部および前記複数の溝の表面が、浸炭およびメタルダスティングに対し耐性を持ち、かつ該内部表面の表面粗さおよび寸法精度が、電解加工によりも優れた125RMS(CLA)より小さい表面粗さとなるように機械加工したことを特徴とする、
遠心鋳造管を製造する方法。 - それぞれ次に続く切削工具の組の寸法は、直前の通過で使用された前記切削工具の対応する寸法より大きいことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記寸法が通過につき0.05mmから0.1mmの間の割合の増加量で増加することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 遠心鋳造管を製造するための装置であって、
前記管を固定するよう適合される第一および第2ガイド、
前記管の穿孔を縦方向に通過するよう適合される伸縮シャフト、
および前記シャフトに取り付けられ複数の切削インサートを有する少なくとも一つの切削アセンブリを含み、
前記切削アセンブリは前記管の穿孔に複数の溝および突起部の外形を機械的に形成し、
前記複数の突起部および前記複数の溝の表面が、浸炭およびメタルダスティングに対し耐性を持ち、かつ該内部表面の表面粗さおよび寸法精度が、電解加工によりも優れた125RMS(CLA)より小さい表面粗さとなるように構成されることを特徴とする、
遠心鋳造管を製造するための装置。 - 前記切削インサートは刃先交換式であることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記切削インサートは凹面切削表面を備えることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記切削インサートは凸面切削表面を備えることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの切削アセンブリが前記シャフトに取り付けられた複数の切削工具を有し、更に前記シャフトの周囲に配置され前記切削工具を間隔の空いた関係で保持するよう適合された少なくとも一つのスペーサーカラーを有することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記装置に潤滑油を注すための手段を更に有することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも一つの切削工具を前記シャフトに取り付けるための手段を更に有することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 少なくとも一つのセンタリングガイドを更に有することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の装置。
