Abstract
812,926. Scaffolding for workmen. ACROW (ENGINEERS) Ltd. May 11, 1956 [Nov. 15, 1955], No. 32704/55. Class 20(2) [Also in Group XIV] A scaffold bracket, supporting boards 20, Fig. 1, on a horizontal member 22, has seats on a vertical member 24 adapted to be engaged laterally with a scaffold upright 10 to which it is clamped by a clamp or clamps 34 and a bracing strut 26 connects members 22, 24. In a modification the bracket comprises a flanged channel 62, Figs. 4 and 5 adapted to be engaged laterally with the upright 54 and secured by clamps 64 and braces 68 support horizontal members 70. As shown, the upright 54 is part of a prop 50 and supports a beam shuttering, the side members 78 of which are supported on pins 84 on the brackets by notched adjustable struts 80. The prop has screw adjustment 53 and pin and hole adjustments 58, 56. Specifications 579,601 and 767,942 are referred to.
