Abstract

929,545. Shuttering for casting concrete. ACROW-WOLFF G.m.b.H. Sept. 22, 1959 [Sept. 30, 1958], No. 32282/59. Class 20 (2). A hollow column 3 of circular or polygonal cross-section is cast between adjustable shuttering 30-33 which may be as described in Specification 929,544 and is supported between outer scaffolding 4, 7-10 and inner scaffolding 13-17 of which the elements 4, 16 are of fixed length while the remaining elements are adjustable by nuts 20-27 to allow of variation of the diameter of the column. The scaffolding is slidable on rods 5, 6, 11 which may be extended to support scaffolding planks 51, 53 and handrails 49, 50. The shuttering comprises panels 30 which are fixed to the rods 7 and are connected to main panels 31 which support sliding panels 32. The panels are provided with vertical stiffeners 33-37 and with spring steel horizontal stiffeners 39, 40 which slide in clips 41, 42.
