A bracket supporting a scaffold platform 12, Fig. 7, on anchors 14 embedded in a concrete wall 13 being cast, comprises a vertical member 35 abutting the wall and pivoted to a horizontal member 41 having a nailing strip 60 and a telescopically adjustable diagonal member 43 pivoted to the ends of the other two members by pivots 48, 47. The vertical member is in the form of an inverted U and engages over the anchor 14 to which it is secured by a nut 40. When the platform is to be used on battered walls the length of the diagonal member 43 is suitably adjusted and the pivot 48 moved to the appropriate hole of a series in the vertical member 35. A guard rail is supported on a post 50 fitted in the end of the tubular member 43 and secured by the pivot 47. In Fig.- 5 the member 35 is secured by T bolts 33 which pass between pairs of walings 73 of the shuttering studding 72. A further platform 90, Fig. 7, is suspended by rods 94 from the horizontal member 41. The shuttering, studding 72 is anchored to the set concrete by anchors 76 and is adjusted in position by screw jacks bearing against the set concrete.
