Abstract

1,007,133. Shuttering for casting floors. SCAFFOLDING (GREAT BRITAIN) Ltd. July 8, 1964 [July 10, 1963], No. 27392/63. Heading E1S. Shuttering for casting floors and adapted to be struck all in one piece comprises plywood &c. sheet and beams 40-43 supported on adjustable props 20 connected by braces 30 and screwed into a base frame 1. The base comprises tubes mitred together at the corners, the curved sides of the tubes and upward cranking of the middle of the tubes facilitating movement of the shuttering over a floor &c. The props can be screwed through the frame to engage the floor &c. to allow for an uneven surface. The props are telescopic and have a pin and hole coarse adjustment and fine adjustment comprising a screwed sleeve 25 resting on the pin which projects through slots in the outer tube of the prop. The shuttering beams 40 rest in channels 28 on top of the props. The ends 44 of the shuttering surface forms a walkway for workmen. Trapdoors are provided in the plywood shuttering 43 for ropes 52, 54 for moving the apparatus which may also be moved on trolleys.
