Abstract

831,148. Scaffolding. SCAFFOLDING (GREAT BRITAIN) Ltd., and RICHARDS, L. S. May 30, 1957 [May 30, 1956], No. 16765/56. Class 20(2) Scaffolding comprises a platform supporting tube 10 connected, by inclined bracing tubes 19, 20, to a parallel offset foot 15 which is clamped to the floor 27. A vertical tube 11 has a telescopic extension 12 which carries on its plate 14 a beam under construction. Horizontal planks 29 and bracing tubes connect this frame to a similar frame. A standard 23 supports a guard rail 25. Brace 19 and tube 10 may pivot around the tube 11 for storage. Tube 10 may alternatively be connected to the inner telescopic tube 12, in which case the brace 19 would be slidably connected by a fixable collar to tube 11. Specification 714,075 is referred to.
