Abstract

837,036. Scaffolding; shuttering for casting walls. SIEMENS-BAUUNION G.m.b.H. June 5, 1957 [June 7, 1956], No. 17930/57. Class 20(2) Two platforms B, B2 one above the other are suspended by a detachable hoisting device H from a verticle girder T detachably mounted on a wall W. The wall is cast between shuttering S in which are shaped bricks to which the girder T is bolted and from which it may be released and secured at a higher position as the casting of the wall proceeds. The hoist H which is fixed in one of a number of holes O in the girder T supports a carriage G carrying the shuttering S and the lower platform B and channels u on both sides of the wall connected by members v which carry the upper platform B2 and platforms B1, B3 on the other side of the wall. The members u, v are adjustable for different widths of wall. Concrete is tipped between the shuttering from platforms B, B1 and reinforcing rods are inserted from platform B2, B3. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), the shuttering and platforms are supported by two vertical girders one on each side of the wall, each having a hoist and carriage. In a modification, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), of Fig. 2 the shuttering is attached to the vertical girders between the upper and lower platforms. In Figs. 7 and 8 (not shown) two parallel walls are cast by means of the apparatus shown in Fig. 1 with two vertical girders for each wall and a superstructure is mounted on the upper platforms carrying a hoist for a container for materials.
